Painshill is a beautiful award-winning 18th century landscape garden in Surrey. The 158 acre wonderland has something for everyone and makes a great family day out. Discover the mystical follies, historic plantings, the John Bartram Heritage Collection of North American trees and shrubs (Plant Heritage, NCCPG), and some of Surrey's amazing wildlife. You can spend a whole day at Painshill or there are shorter accessible routes around the Serpentine Lake. Dogs on short leads are welcome. Bring a picnic or visit Hamilton's Tea Room. Visit the Painshill Shop for gifts, greeting cards and to buy Painshill English Sparkling Wine.

Landed up here by accident, on a weekday afternoon and found it a great place to spend time at and walk around. It’s a historic park with lots of things to see

Visited here over the Christmas period and this is a lovely place for a relaxing walk. I have also visited in the Summer and Painshill offers a lovely setting for a picnic

We really want to go back here as the place is so full of history and valuable memorabilia. We loved every minute walking round the rooms.

Afraid I don’t use trains very much so can’t be much help on this . The nearest stations are Cobham & Stoke d’Abernon but are2 miles away .I would assume It would be cheaper to book in advance than on the day .

Yes you can take dogs, not sure if they are allowed everywhere but they have a special area for dogs where they can go off lead but round most of the park they will need to stay on it. Hope this helps.
