I visit this cafe around once a fortnight and always choose the Scottish breakfast they offer this with fruit juice or fruit salad and porridge. I could not have these as I would never finish it as the portion of fried breakfast is huge and of an excellent standard I really don't know how they give all this food for... More

Might be good for fishing but is full of people drinking on the benches and rubbish everywhere. Is got potential, but it needs some work done.

If you are unlucky enough to actually be charged for your fishing, it will be less than a fiver. A lake full of large carp, with many of them commons. Not an easy venue, but the challenge is worth it.

Beautifully designed, but completely surrounded by noisy roads, the Boating Lake is a series of contradictions. It is a peaceful space, once you can ignore the cars racing about it, it is a natural habitat filled with wild and domesticated fowl, yet clearly created, though beautifully, by man. If there is a cheaper place to have a cup of tea... More

A lovely place to walk around especially when ducklings are there. Herons are often there. Canadian geese seemed to have been removed which has improved the whole area!

You can do all of the above there . The car park is small so it's always a struggle to find parking. There's a cafe on site.
