The park is 1.2 kilometres long and not a mile as some people think always busy with dog walkers and families out for a stroll but plenty of room for runners and joggers alike good water activities during the day for children and adults.

As a shift worker, I excercise at odd times. Tbe Heritage Park is great at 6 am, just watch out for the geese! Only bad thing is the inconsiderate dog owners who allow their dogs to foul the paths and don't pick up the mess.
