Visited here in the summer holidays with my 2 year old. Lovely new park which was fantastic, plenty to keep my son occupied for a couple of hours. The animal but was amazing and fantastic value for money. Had a great day

As previous contributors have mentioned, the park comprises an indoor section with a magnificent array of plants and trees as well as some wildlife, an outdoor section with plenty of animals, including a Scottish Wildcat, and a very large and varied play park. The latter is free but the other 2 have a very modest entry fee for what you... More

This park is really split between three things, the animals, the play area and the walks. The animals do have a cost to see - £1.65 for adults and .50p for kids. The ticket gives you multiple entry on the day and is well worth the price of entry. Well worth going in to see, my highlights being the Meer... More

When the weather is nice then there is not a better country park in the area, large play area for the kids and an animal area that you need to pay for to get in. Golf course in the park and a very good one at that, gift shop and cafe with some great walks.

On the hill leading up to the park there were diggers and rolers driving up and down the hill. We found that this was a hazard for the children... More

The new park at calderglen is great, my two kids loved it. The wee zoo is ok...only pay for adults to get in, half a hour and we had seen it all though. The trail through the forest is a hazard! Totally unsafe, landslide have forced partial closure. Overall a good day out though there is also a wee cafe... More
