Such a lovely place to sit and watch the boats and poeple go by. Malta is delightful and Spinola Bay is particulalry good spot. There are a couple of great bars and restaurants on the water's edge which you would love. We were there in January which is perfect for sightseeing. We enjoyed really bright sunshine which was warm if you were protected. However, I would recommend warm clothes if you are sitting outside a bar or on the top of the bus. Not shorts and T shirts in January but beautiful and perfect for exploring on foot. We walked for miles, ending up at St Julians from Valetta. Malta is a must.

Lovely walk around this bay that is dotted with good quality restaurants. Some locals and tourists were swimming at lunchtime. Water is crystal clear. Rocky in parts so jellies are a good idea!

My wife and I stayed in St Julians for 4 nights, and were located just off Spinola Bay. The area is very pretty, with lots going on. Plenty of restaurants to cater for any requirement, and a nice promenade to stroll along whether in the daytime or evening.

To rate an entire location is something that I woukd find difficult to put into words. However, Spinola Bay serves a welcome along the lines of Mediterranean meets British harbour. The mix of old and new, abundant collection of restaurants and cafes, and the multicultural assortment of both visitors, workers and locals alike is enchanting. All built in a fishing village atmosphere. Not to be overlooked when visiting Malta.

Little bay with yachts . a lot of restaurants , cafe's and bars with terraces around the bay full with tourists . a lot of young people around . good mediterranean food (italian and medterranean) , good service to foreigners , food at reasonable prices . you have to reserve to receive a table in good restaurants .

We went there for a short romantic getaway. The bay is lovely, with lots of restaurants and bus routes to catch directed to Valletta, Sliema, Rabat, Ghain Tuffieha.

During the day, it looks like a small fishing village. Brightly colored boats are swaying in the sea. In the evening the restaurants are filled with tourists. There are many good local restaurants (like Raffael) in the small bay. (and many cats, as well :) )

A nice place to wander, with a promenade all round. Plenty of bayside restaurants to eat al fresco, catching the sun.

This little bay offers some nice restaurants, but some get really bad reviews though. Check out your Tripadvisor!!
Some restaurants are very decent though and offer tasteful food and drinks. Manakis is one of those places. Greek food at the bay :)

At night the bay becomes a bit more interesting. The appartment buildings surrounding the bay are not very beautiful and at night their details are less visible :)
