We went to camino with a ferry which charge us 20 euro person which is worth of it every penny. Ferry started in the morning 10am till 5pm, we stayed all day in the beach chill with alcohol and sun bath. Make sure you take speed boat ride by Tony. Tony is a star he knows every inch of camino and tell different stories of camino which was amazing.

When we boarded the Oh-Yeah boat in Mellieha (for the Gozo trip, including Blue Lagoon and Crystal Lagoon), there was a salesman on board asking each passenger if they would like to buy a 10E speedboat ticket that would take you into the caves and tunnels near the Blue Lagoon in Comino. We bought two tickets, not wanting to miss any valuable experience. The 20 minutes in the speedboat does eat into your swimming time in the Blue Lagoon, but it was well worth it. There are several caves/tunnels to explore, and the dreadlocked driver made the trip more exciting by deliberately swinging the speedboat from left to right! (We were warned to protect our cameras from the splash.) Despite being senior citizens, we considered this addition to the trip well worth 10 Euros.

Amazing! Really loved the trip to comino and the caves. If you’re looking to spend as much time as you can in comino, that’s the best way to get there. Besides the ride being super fun, the caves you get to see are simply beautiful

Convenient departure point. Everything you need to get to the island of Comino. A small stop for a swim, 4 hours of free time in the Blue Lagoon and a visit to some caves. Nothing more is needed. For an affordable price. A trip with a very funny captain.

Some friends and I went with Toni and his boat for a day trip from Valetta to Gozo. It was a wonderful day! Toni drove us to great places, reserved a table in a restaurant and we had a lot of fun! It was the best thing in Malta for me!

We decided to go on this trip after all the positive reviews we found on trip advisor and other websites. (unfortunately we also found a bad review on trip advisor but we still ignored the only one bad review and followed the other great ones since you can't please everybody all the time). I can truly confirm these positive reviews as this was the best day ever in Comino.

The first thing that tony did was to introduce himself and say all the safety notices for the whole trip and wished us to enjoy the whole excursion. During the trip, Tony was joking with us and all the other people on the boat . He also asked us from where we are and this shows how much he enjoys being with people. We were very impressed by the knowledge he had of different countries and languages. He also says that he doesn't work with tourists but he works with people. This showed the dedication that this man has.

We continued on our trip and Tony was all the time pointing out the popular tourist locations such as Tuna Farms and St. Paul's islands. On the boat he had two lovely small dogs named Gilla and Bruce who were very friendly with us and all the people on board.

We noticed that Tony was all the time saying 'Merry Christmas' to the people on our boat and other boats passing by and then he told us that he loves this phrase so much that he did his first tattoo (at the age of 66) with the phrase on his back just above his swimming trunks.

When we arrived at Comino, Tony showed us the beautiful caves of this island. We went deep inside the caves and he showed us a sandy beach in one of them which was very beautiful. This is when the funniest part of the trip happened. He told us to put our knees on the seats and asked if we can see the bottom. We obviously said 'Yes' and then he replied 'So can I !!!' and everyone was laughing.

We then went for a much waited swim at the Blue Lagoon. When it was time for us to leave, Tony was very punctual and we didn't have to stay waiting for him in the scorching sun. On our way back we were very tired but Tony's energetic spirit and funny character kept us laughing and having fun on our return trip on his comfortable speedboat. When we arrived in St.Julian's, Tony helped us out of the boat and everyone was shaking hands with him and hugging him. Everyone wanted to remember this experience so everyone was taking photos with Tony.

Me and my girl friend recommend to only go with Tony to Comino with a smile on your face and only with a good sense of humour because he has a very lively character and we will assure you that you will love the trip much more.

For us this definitely was the HIGHLIGHT of our stay in Malta !!!!

Don' t miss out on this natural experience. We have his number and we want to share it with you so you won't miss out on this. His number is + 00356 99493453

We love you Tony and kiss the dogs for us . We will definitely see you again on our next trip to Malta.

I honestly do not know where to begin with this review. AMAZING seems to fit the bill. We got this speedboat trip thrown in with our Seahorse Cruise, so only had 20 minutes around The Blue Lagoon and Comino, however, I would not hesitate in seeking out a longer trip with Tony. From the moment you step on board you receive a warm welcome from Tony, and his two little dogs come along for the trip too. He has been in the business for over 40 years and this shows through his knowledge of the area. The speedboat is small enough to navigate some of the smaller caves around the lagoon too. Whilst this is going on Tony is giving a running commentary of the area and sharing jokes etc. We never stopped laughing throughout the duration of the trip. If in Malta definitely seek out Tony (Mr Crazy) you're guaranteed lots of laughs and fun. Can't wait for next summer =)
