The beer is cold, the staff are friendly, and they have toilets. What more do you need on a hot day in Malta? We found it by accident, and it looked as though the food was cheap - obviously aimed at tourists, as it offered breakfast - but we never got to go back. But for a stop on your... More

Just off the hustle and bustle but still great for people watching, an inexpensive little watering hole with friendly staff and good honest food, we stopped by most evenings for a drink and to watch the sports, having lasagne for dinner one night at just €4 and €3 a pint. Full day breakfast menu looked good and clientele ranged from... More

Lovely welcome from staff and served quickly. We decided to both have half a chicken salad and chips with a pint of the local beer. It was all served quickly, beer served cold and food served hot! Food was very tasty and definitely filled us up for the rest of the day. Great low prices for wholesome meals!

Popped in after a long walk for a cold beer and hopefully some Maltese bread & oil (hobz biz-zejt). Alas, they were out of bread. Unbeknownst to us, the owner, sent his waitress up the road to the local bakers and bought fresh bread so we could enjoy the Maltese lunch. Sooooo friendly. Chatted with the owner. Talked about our... More

We went for breakfast and tried only baguettes so we cant say much about other things but baguettes were not so good but they cost only about 2-3euros.

This is a small cafe bar which has seated area outside. The ownercis very friendly and helpful. They also serve food and do a lovely cheeseburger . Well worth a visit for a beer or tea and coffee with cake .

A great cheap place to eat. Supurb lasagne home made with fresh salad. The owners are poite and service with a friendly smile, and good wine to finish off.

nothing exciting to look at but the food, though basic, is very good. They do good English breakfasts and the usual burger/chips etc etc, and at E2 for a pint of Hop leaf and just E1.50 for a Pepsi you just can't go wrong especially if your on a budget. Recommend this place for value.

I visited Dicks bar in the morning and I would recommend the bar for breakfast. They can offer English breakfast at reasonable price. I asked a waiter to prepare a scramble eggs and he served pretty tasty meal. Nice atmosphere.

Corner bar on the way to St. Julian's. Family run with friendly staff. Good position to sit outside and wait for the bus. Snacks available
