Perfect place to start the wonderful coastal path towards Monte Carlo. In Winter the Restaurants are closed . The public toilets at the beach are as bad as it gets. Stay away !

Dreamy
Sep 2019 • Solo
My favourite daily ritual. Throw on some tunes, head for a run (or walk) and let your eyes feast on this scenic view while you work out.

Nice Beach but ridiculously expensive chairs, drinks and food
Jun 2019 • Couples
Beach is nice but the 2 local beach bars charge ridiculously high prices. Examples: 1 beach chair for €40, simple hamburger and chips for €35.

Lovely coastal walk
Jun 2019
Out of peak season with the warm June sunshine breaking through it really is a lovely coastal scenic walk. We started from Cap d'ail making our way to the borders of Monaco. The walk with the high cliffs on one side and the turquoise waters of the sea on the other is breathtaking. Along the way there are places where you can make your way to into the sea via the strange rock formations so if you do want to swim best to have some plastic shoes to avoid getting cut. Once you reach the borders of Monaco there are a few beach front restaurants which do great salads and fish dishes before setting back. If you are interested there are several grand villas sign posted like The Rock, inhabited by the rich and famous like Greta Garbo. Once you make your way back to Cap d'ail why not pay a visit to "Le parc Sacha Guitry" with its Mediterranean flora and rare plants. It also gives you an insight as to what living in one of these villas would be like with your own garden and terraces and beautiful sea views. Do take note to wear suitable footwear and if it is very hot, then hats and sunscreen is a must

Probably the most beautiful beach on the Cote d"Azur
Oct 2018
I hesitate to write about Mala Beach because it is one of the best kept secrets on the Riviera. There is a reason it is called Eden Beach. Do the walk, which is splendid, but know that nothing will prepare you for the jaw-dropping beauty that is Eden Beach. Perhaps I am doing a disservice by writing this review to celebrate its beauty because the morning I was there with only two others on the beach, I truly felt like Eve in her garden. I was in fact grateful for the other beauty-seekers in the event that my heart would stop and they would restore me to consciousness. All I can say is take the steps downwards to Mala very slowly because the view that appears does truly take your breath away. I was very much reminded in fact of that well-known Florence phenomenon wherein tourists get so dizzied by the masterpieces at the Uffiz that they faint straight away. Go. But slowly down those stairs.

La Mala Beach not a paradise in summer
Aug 2018 • Family
I was quite surprised to discover that the Mala Beach doesn't look like the paradise picture by a lot of reviews. Even if the private beaches are gone, the space is very narrow, taken by two huge restaurants. Then there are all the boats coming to bring people, the plastic containers for rubbish, the untidy jelly fish net. Of course the nature is great, I guess the beach sufferers from its popularity. It is better to avoid the busy July and August months.

path to the best beach in the French Riviera
Jul 2018 • Family
We( our family of 5) have stayed in the French Riviera many times during the last 15 years. Since we found this fantastic place we always go back. Stunning views... clearest water I've seen in this area!

Bring your snorkelling gear!

Fantastic view on the tour down to the beach.
It’s not a beach with sand, but with smaller stones. It’s actually ok!
The water is clean and very nice.
Toilets unfortunately not great, but they are there🙂

A beautiful stroll far from the madding crowds
Jul 2017
I was booked to conduct a wedding on Mala beach and opted to arrive by train. Crossing the train track via the tunnel brought me out onto this path which I'd not expected to be so lovely, made better so by the excellent restaurant where I could sit and enjoy some light refreshment as I was early for my appointment. The path is narrow but well-paved and the views are lovely.

Fantastic walk from Monaco
Sep 2017 • Couples
Walked the path after strolling from the cruise dock and really enjoyed the scenery and villa spotting. At Cap d'Ail there are some absolutely stunning villas if you have a spare 15 million or so. Walk took around 1 hrs 45 minutes.
We were going to catch the train back to Monaco but picked a day when the track was closed for engineering works so caught orange bus 100 instead which runs every 15 minutes in the middle of the day and has a flat rate of 1.50 euros irrespective of the length of journey anywhere between Nice and Menton. You pay the driver.
