I love this place! The beach is free of charge. It's really spacious and picturesque. There are showers, a bar, and sea equipment rental. A bit too crowded at the weekend and in August but I think it's inevitable for such periods.

Black volcanic sand

Black volcanic sand, quite gritty and small pebbles. No lifeguard but a 6km stretch provides enough room for everyone. Small stall serves drinks. Parking is 90c per hour across the road. There is an underpass and then a very steep hill down to the beach. Really steep at the end of a long day!

We were near Pollina and we had only one day for a beach, when we asked the locals they adviced us to go there and it was OK. It was the end of May so there was almost nobody but the beach was clean, the parking was good just keep in mind that there were no services, but maybe during high season it is different.
