Capel le Ferne Farmers Market
The village hall is in the centre of Capel-le-Ferne village, which is set on the cliff-top of the White Cliffs of Dover, on the B2011 halfway between Folkestone and Dover. We have a great community spirit and the hall is in constant use. Many events are held in the hall, including a weekly farmers market, boot fairs, craft fairs, garden shows, pantomime, quiz nights etc. Plus the regular clubs of Judo, short mat bowls, playgroup, guides & brownies, youth club, remote control car club, W.I., active retirement groups, Zumba, Pilates, Badminton etc. The hall is also available for hire for weddings, parties, conferences etc.We have a large main hall with stage, and a smaller hall.We have a lovely kitchen, disabled toilet facilities, and a large car park.Behind the hall is a football field, playground, skateboard park and adult gym, with a zip wire and an area for playing boulle in the near future. Also in our village is the BATTLE OF BRITAIN MEMORIAL, which is well worth the visit, which is also in the process of expanding to provide a 'Wing' with modern technology showing the History and Story of the Battle of Britain, along with a Cafeteria over-looking the channel.CAPEL-LE-FERNE FARMERS MARKETEstablished since 2003 by volunteers on the Village Hall Management Committee (which is a registered charity). Farmers market

I try to get here as often as I can as I like to support the local economy. Not the best market in the area but always happy faces. Sometimes difficult to get what you want here, often a bit hit and miss, and I must say rather expensive.

From humble beginnings

This market has gone from strength to strength since its humble beginning. Great and varied produce, a convivial place to meet friends and have some refreshments, even has a professional photographer who will organise your passport or driving licence requirements, plus a small postal service. Open every Tuesday morning from 10 00 a.m. This market has also won awards and has regular customers from all over the District.

I would like to firstly say how friendly this Farmers Market is. It's on every Tuesday.
The market offers every kind of produce you can imagine. Freshly cooked bread, fresh vegetables, fresh cakes, free range eggs, fresh meat, fresh fish, just to name a few...there are so many different stalls offering a wide range of produce to suit every taste. It's a true gem, and I think the management team / organisers Jenny and Cherry do great fantastic work, supporting Capel - Le - Ferne, supporting all the volunteers, stall holders and also the markets visitors. It's a great all round team effort, bringing the people together.
The Farmers Market is well established and has been going for many years.
Well why not come along yourself, and see for yourself, everyone is more than welcome and there is something for everyone, and then tell your friends....
In the smaller hall they also have to offer a photographer, a volunteer postoffice service and also a wide range of different handcrafted products every week from hand painted wooden signs, key holders to knitted jumpers, handmade bed toppers and a lot more....
Capel- Le- Ferne Farmers market.... Putting Capel on the map.
See you there...
