One of our favourite places to visit. Lots to see indoors and out. Lovely cafe with the spectacular view over the memorial statue and out onto the channel. The staff are lovely and really enthusiastic. There is a very peaceful atmosphere and a marvellous memorial to The Battle of Britain.…

We visited late in the day in foggy weather. Family of five . We were greeted warmly and did covid signing in etc. We started upstairs in the cafe and enjoyed drinks and cakes. Obviously the fog curtailed any views but the area was very well set out with some great pictures on the walls. We didn't do the scramble experience but only because Of time constraints and as we will be returning on a sunny day we shall try it then. we thoroughly enjoyed the outside airmen memorial sculpture and could see the shapes of the propeller idea..The memorial wall was very moving . There were some RAF fighter aircraft models to have photographs taken next to and a large silver stuka nose in . To finish our superb visit we looked at the shop and central hub. Lots to see, lots to buy and we all purchased books and small gifts. The layout is excellent, the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, and I look forward to visiting again on a summer, covid free day.…

I would recommend it for everyone. …

We found this memorial by accident whilst doing a cliff top walk and it made our day. The staff were welcoming, with clear Covid-19 procedures and guidance. We paid just £5.30 for two people to visit the exhibition which was exceptional. The cafe had lovely food and drink with a terrace with sweeping views out to sea. All in all a very memorable visit. Highly recommended.…
