This is a great hike along the nature and heritage trail that runs from the village of Akra to the village of Ferkingstad. Cultural and historical monuments lie in abundance between Akra and the boathouse ruins at Hop. The hike starts in the north...more

Nice beaches to enjoy in nice weather, but cold normally water even on summertime. Many of the beaches are also popular for windsurfing whole year. Summertime it could be crowdy. Can be spectacular to be here wintertime also, to see the big waves smash against...More

Not so many beaches to enjoy around the region, and not precisely the best plan to go swimming, considering the temperature of the water even in summer, but they are really great on a sunny summer day :)

This is a perfect place to spend a sunny day, but remember to get here early, because it's very popular on warm days.

We were blown away by the beauty of these beaches. We weren't expecting white sand beaches in Norway! We walked along the coastal heritage path - stunning scenery.

Unexpected beaches in Norway, with white sand and transparent waters. Very good access and clean toilets and accessible toilets.

Stunning part of Norway - stunning beaches and scenery. We visited on a warm day in March and it was lovely with a touch of chill from the sea breeze. In Summer i presume it would be a great place to spend a few hours.

I live on this island and I've been travelling the world but you won't find beaches more beautyful than this. To bad the climate is a bit cold and you can rarely take a bath without freezing half to death.

I recomend to go to Sandvesanden even though it's further. It's a small, lovely beach, with beautiful view.
