Hi Stephen, the museum is only open in summer, however they do open specially if you contact them. I reckon it’ll have to be a taxi but it’s only 10 minutes from Alta

Yes, as the answer you have already. He's a nice guy and will likely open up anyway. I wasn't keen, but it's actually very good and provides you with a startling perspective on what looks like an idyllic fjord.
