One of the busiest wedding churches in Finland. When you visit here, you know why. This small and charming church is nice place to visit during summer (or winter for example in Christmas concert). Visit also in modern memorial chappel which is open in summer with guide.

Pyhän Laurin kirkko is a very beautiful medieval stone church. It is not always open for public so you'd better check that in advance. The interior of the church is worth of visiting. There is a lovely stained glass art work behind the altar. The new chapel beside the old church is interested architectonically. The neighbouring area of the church... More

Nice old church. Lot of parking space nearby. Avoid weekends because often busy then. Not far from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport of Jumbo shopping centre.

The church is only open on named times, meaning you will have to check. And as the most popular church for weddings around Helsinki Metropolitan area, check that it is open for visiting when you plan to go. It is a real mediaval church and has also evenings concerts which you might like. During Christmas and Finnish independence day, you... More

Attended the Swedish Trinity mass and I really felt at home. It is a beautiful historic site, the church music good and the service traditional. Although I can not speak swedish, it gave me the opportunity to worship and have contact with the congregation afterwards.

Of course, the churches have undergone changes but a certain primitive atmosphere can still be felt in them. The church in Vantaa, dedicated to St. Lorenz, is still in use... More
