Disney village has everything from a cinema, sports bar, Disney shops, Lego store, Cafe Mickey, Wild West show, Starbucks, country music bar, Maccies plus much more!!!

It’s still disney prices and has the Disney feel but a great place for drinks after the parks or breakfast before you go.

Plus you can dip into the village and back into the parks as much as you like.

You will need to scan your bag through security when you enter and I’ve seen the occasional pat down too - makes you feel very safe.

The 2 pics are from our room at Newport bay, Disney village starts where the balloon is!

We have been going to Disney for over 11 years now. This time we travelled by plane and we caught the fast train to Disney. They have shops in the train station which sells all drinks and OMG what a price difference! In Disney you will pay €3.99 for a bottle of cola cola for example. In the train station it’s €2.20!!!!! Each day we brought enough to last us the whole day. 🥤 💦 you will save so much money 💰 and the station is less than 100 meters from Disney Village gates!!!!

Where do I start. It’s incredibly dated. The buildings need a renovation badly. Planet Hollywood is closed, which didn’t concern me. There is about 2 places to eat there that won’t cost you an arm and a leg, McDonald’s and Earl of Sandwich. The shops are ok, but I didn’t quite understand why there was World of Disney, The Disney Store, and Disney Fashion, and most of the shops sold the same items. It’s nice that it’s free, and anyone can visit it, but the serious lack of Starbucks Disney cups was really sad, there’s a giant lack of other things too, such as ears, Loungefly, and spirit jerseys. I also guess I was expecting a park specific character, like Duffy, the Japan exclusive. It’s just strange. I think the Disney Village has so much potential, and hopefully they will continue to expand it.

I would describe Disney Village as functional rather than a special place. Disney Springs in Florida is a proper entertainment complex that you could spend the whole afternoon/evening at. Don't get me wrong Disney Village is somewhere you need to get a coffee, get food etc etc - but that's all it is.

Children will enjoy the World Of Disney store.

From all but one hotel you have to walk through or past the village so there is constant temptation to venture in for a drink, bite to eat or shops to walk around getting souvenirs. At the very beginning of the day it is a ghost town and very peaceful to walk through. The music and building colours etc all make a pleasant atmosphere to be around.

Visited here after a day in Disneyland. The village has expanded some since my last visited many many years ago. It's still large, full of shops and restaurants and plenty of neon lights everywhere giving you that party feeling still.

You can go to the Disney village without Disney tickets. We had 5 nights in Paris but only 2 Disneyland tickets so being able to go here one evening saved us a lot of time when in Disney as did not spend our Disney time round the shops and restaurants which are accessible without Disney entrance. Lots of shops, snack vans and restaurants. RNR drops you right at the door

So many nice places to eat and drink. The fireworks for bonfire night over the lake were beautiful. Great snack bars that change their menu in accordance to the time of year. We have visited for the Halloween period but also Christmas was just as good! Everywhere is decorated at Christmas with a mini Xmas market. Annettes was our favourite place to eat in this area - roller skating waiting staff and amazing American style food. The rainforest cafe is worth a visit if you haven’t been to one before but queue early!

I was expecting it to be like Disney Springs in Orlando Florida, but it is not. It is a smaller, less new version. It is nice to walk through and shop for some merchandise but it would have been nice to have other types of merchandise available. I was unable to find any dog merchandise. But nice area to walk through.

Just before you enter (or as you leave) you have this little 'street' for some shopping and eating. A decent variety of restaurants albeit offering similarish menus and a few shops tempting you with Lego, clothing and all manor of Disney paraphernalia.

When the night draws in, its fully lit up and has a nice family orientated night life.

If you are at the parks you will end up here one way or another for a look around or a meal.
