- juliaandadam123Ashford, United Kingdom1,934 contributionsLatest visit - still a big hit!Having visited DLP regularly over the past 20 years it is nice to see that the Disney Village is having a little bit of an update. The new restaurant replacing Cafe Mickey opened the day after we got home, but I look forward to eating there in 2024. I enjoy the choice of restaurants and the different Disney shops. Always something nice to buy and eat.Visited December 2023Traveled with friendsWritten December 11, 2023
- Susan MGlasgow, United Kingdom307 contributionsEasy to get to parkFrom our hotel you walk through here to get to the park. It isn’t very big which means it’s quick to get to the parks or Back to your hotel. There is shops, restaurants and bars. The place is starting to feel old and tired. Hollywood planet is shut and it just has boards around it. They are doing it up and hopefully doing something else with planet Hollywood but the now is isn’t the best as your 1st thing to see of Disney after your hotelVisited February 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 3, 2024
- BRIAN2020Dublin, Ireland126 contributionsMagic of the villageJust back from a family holiday to Disneyland Paris , whilst there we made the mandatory visit to Disney village. This has changed over the last 20 years that we have been visiting. For example no more planet Hollywood, no more king Ludwig’s both lovely restaurants. Anyway it is continuing with its evolution, there is a fair bit of hoarding in place still that you have to navigate around with artist impression of what it will look like in the future. Still it’s always worth a visit , for music, food and of course Disney shopping. Will obviously return again. You will enjoy 😊Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 28, 2024

Deplorable experience. Half of the village under construction, and shops and attractions closed (Lego, arcade games, quad circuit for children, etc.). At no time is this announced (neither on the internet, nor at the entrance to the park), when you have booked your day and have traveled the road, it's heartbreaking.
We also booked at Billy Bob. We arrive at 5 p.m., we eat at the bar, then we pay €40 per person for an all-you-can-eat buffet (which needs to be improved, especially when it is advisable to book several weeks in advance), then we are asked to go out to drink again at the bar to see the concert. Here too it is shameful not to mention it beforehand and to want to force-feed customers like cattle with foie gras. We won't come back again.

Hello, I only do this very rarely but here I wanted to congratulate the phlegm of a Disney store employee apparently named Elodie. Indeed, while she was in the process of informing me about baby clothes, the father of a family who was waiting at her checkout started to call out to her, whistling and snapping his fingers for her to go and get them. serve. Taken aback, she went to tell them that her cash register was temporarily closed while she informed me but that the family could always go and pay at the cash register next door where there was no one. The very unpleasant man started yelling at him, telling him that he would go and complain in the park. I am really outraged by the attitude of certain customers towards Disney employees and I wanted to congratulate the confidence that this employee had to finish informing me. I hope she doesn't get in trouble because she remained professional despite this very unpleasant family.

Ate at the steakhouse in Disney village. Stay away from this place. The quality of the food is terrible. The baked potato had to be cut with steak knife. There were four of us and it was the same for everyone. No one ate even half of their meal. The quality of the steaks was comparable to what you would get at a all you can restaurant like Golden Corral. The cocktails are awful. The worst thing I have ever seen at a Disney park.

From all but one hotel you have to walk through or past the village so there is constant temptation to venture in for a drink, bite to eat or shops to walk around getting souvenirs. At the very beginning of the day it is a ghost town and very peaceful to walk through. The music and building colours etc all make a pleasant atmosphere to be around.

Visited here after a day in Disneyland. The village has expanded some since my last visited many many years ago. It's still large, full of shops and restaurants and plenty of neon lights everywhere giving you that party feeling still.

Passing to pick up my partner at the station, I had the good idea with my daughter to spend the hour we had in advance at Disney Village (simple walk in the streets)
Unfortunately for us, we had our small dog with us (barely 3kg)
When I asked at the entrance if I could go back to the village, the answer was "no!"
For the record, I was courteous, polite and I left without saying anything, the situation was so ludicrous and ridiculous.
No external mention of prohibition and no competence of these security agents in relations with the public.
After the successive increases and that... The magic of Disney is well and truly over!
For my part, it's folded.
A paradox when we know that most of Disney's fortune was made thanks to animals.
Attitude to puke!

You can go to the Disney village without Disney tickets. We had 5 nights in Paris but only 2 Disneyland tickets so being able to go here one evening saved us a lot of time when in Disney as did not spend our Disney time round the shops and restaurants which are accessible without Disney entrance. Lots of shops, snack vans and restaurants. RNR drops you right at the door

Where do I start. It’s incredibly dated. The buildings need a renovation badly. Planet Hollywood is closed, which didn’t concern me. There is about 2 places to eat there that won’t cost you an arm and a leg, McDonald’s and Earl of Sandwich. The shops are ok, but I didn’t quite understand why there was World of Disney, The Disney Store, and Disney Fashion, and most of the shops sold the same items. It’s nice that it’s free, and anyone can visit it, but the serious lack of Starbucks Disney cups was really sad, there’s a giant lack of other things too, such as ears, Loungefly, and spirit jerseys. I also guess I was expecting a park specific character, like Duffy, the Japan exclusive. It’s just strange. I think the Disney Village has so much potential, and hopefully they will continue to expand it.

Can you go back into parks if you go to Disney village for something to eat?
Thinking of having dinner then going back for fireworks?
Also does anyone know roughly when the fireworks are? We go for Halloween.
Thank you 😄

Yes, you can go back in to the Parks. You just need your ticket. Illuminations is usually at 10, but sometimes with the holidays, it is different.

Hi do you need to buy a ticket to enter disney village? Thanks
Written April 28, 2019
No it’s free to walk round - contains shops and restaurants and a cinema and then buffalo bills. It’s between the parks and most of the hotels so we stayed in the Newport bay and walked through the village on our way back from the parks each day
