The beach was lovely, and facilities could not be faulted. However, the car parking charges leave a sour taste! £7! Okay, I accept the charges are for the day, but surely it would be better to charge an hourly rate?

I love Putsborough, my Wife and I married nearby, and I often surfed here years back. Fantastic beach, and the Cafe is excellent. This review is specifically for the owner of the carpark, whom I had the misfortune of meeting this weekend. Having mistakenly driven...More

Quite expect to have segregated areas for visitors from ‘the locals’ in this place one day! I use the term ‘locals’ loosely as I very much doubt that any of them are actually Devonians. I presume most of them have sold up their places in...More

Food quality is extremely poor and very very expensive. The bacon roll and sausage baps are very expensive and the quality of the food is some of the worst I've ever had, really bad and served in a bag in a stale roll. Cup of...More

Have lived in this area for many years and you always get a great welcome off Tony and his staff whatever the weather, whatever the time of day. Food, drinks, ambience and staff are all great.

Devon's secret is the stunning beauty of the coastal walks. You will gasp at the views and feel the power of creation.

I love Putsborough beach. It has a nice little cafe serving drinks, food and the all important ice cream. Quite well sheltered so is ideal for swimming and surfing most days. There are rock formations on the beach when the tide goes out that are...More

No. Just go earlier and stay later! Get your monies worth! There just isn't anywhere else unless you want a long walk.

The previous answer is wrong. There is an annual ticket available and you can also buy a weekly ticket if you are on holiday in this area and wish to go several times.
