We chose to visit outside the peak holiday season as we try to avoid the crowds, being retired. it was also mid week, so we had the camping ground pretty well to ourselves. Not sure if we missed the education and adventure part as a result of this decision, but we were a bit disappointed. Otherwise it was enjoyable if... More

We just spent three days at this very large camping area with extended family including children. This is a very beautiful spot, shady trees and open spaces, the whole site is very well maintained. Being right beside Lake Cootharaba makes it an excellent location for swimming, canoeing and sailing, very safe for children. Very quiet and picturesque, we are looking... More

Great. Quiet. Private. Owner / Manager / Staff were all pleasant and provided extras to us as we were ill-equipped. They run a good camp-site. Should one want more, one might be better suited to Noosa, but Elanda Point provided what we wanted, and what we experienced 10 years earlier. We enjoyed camping there and will do it again. The... Elanda Point is a fabulous location. There is plenty of space to camp, the lake is gorgeous and very safe, you can easily access the Noosa Everglades and there are plenty of walking tracks. Pomona, Tewantin, Kin Kin and Noosa are only a short drive away. All in all, Elanda would be a perfect place to spend a relaxing break... More

My family having been going hear since we were kids & I now take my kids. We have found staff to be helpful and lovely to chat to. We love how quiet & spacious the camp ground is. The Lake is shallow for a fair way out so great for young kids to have a splash. There is hire equip... More

We have stayed numerous times at Elanda Point. This is a great camping spot that does not take advance bookings. Simply turn up and pay. The cost is very inexpensive. Included in the price are hot showers, a small very basic camp kitchen, your choice of camp site. There is a well stocked shop selling necessities and hot food, camping... More

It was a nice place for a family to go to enjoy a weekend camping trip away. It was not over crowded during this time so it was great to enjoy the space and peaceful nature. The kids were able to fish off the lake without having to leave the camp site. Spectacular lake views from the camp site. There... More

When searching for an affordable canoe trip on the noosa Everglades we came across the website of elanda point education. We booked a day-trip and stayed even for free on the very nice located campground with hot showers. Great amenities! The canoe trip was just awesome! Friendly owners, willing to adjust the trip to whatever time schedule we wanted, great... More

We have stayed her numerous times over the years and find this a great inexpensive place to camp. The bonus is there they do not take bookings so you just turn up and choose a site. Obviously in busy school holidays and public holidays it does get busy. People go on about the "rules" posted up around the camp site... More

I rated Elanda point average because we only spent 2 nights there and we did not get around at enjoying the place fully, it was just a try on if you may as we were on our way back from the snow and wanted to check it out on our way back home. The guy at the gate was friendly... More
