Came here with a tour planned from Borovets. It was a short 30 min drive from the town to the thermal pools. Good price to get in and the changing rooms were simple but all you needed.

The pools themselves were lovely and warm considering the average temperatures is below 0 degrees at the moment! Seemed to keep on missing the jet streams in the jacuzzis but the water was nice all the same.

Also kept changing to the saunas of varying temperatures which were nice too.

I’ve never had such a good view of mountains while in a hot pool!

I didn’t use the snack bar so can’t recommend that. Overall I recommend the experience if you like thermals baths!

At the beggining of august, we decided to do some trekking, that's how we reached peak Musala and next stop was peak Vihren. Our group of 5, had no plans in stopping at Saparevo Banski, but we're thankful that before going to Bansko we found out about the place and stopped for half a day to enjoy and recover between the 2 climbing. It was such a nice experience that we decided to come back after Vihren, and was once more a wise and joyful experience. Looking forward to come back next year, we want to thank the staff for keeping the place clean and in order.

Visited the Saparevo Banya spa for an afternoon as the weather was a bit dull and rainy and we didn't want to walk in the mountains.
Good points
- lots of swimming pools outside, big and small with jets to massage the limbs.
- very empty on a dull September midweek day so we could relax with loads of space
- a really hot (41o) sulphurus pool with an ice cold plunge pool beside if you are brave enough!
- views of the mountains while you relax in the water
- a variety of steam rooms inside - saunas with different heats and a wet turkish bath type room with free flowing ice to put over your limbs to stimulate circulation
- plenty of warmed beds to lie on to relax indoors
- free bath robe, towel and locker included in the 35 lev midweek price
- massages are available but we didn't do them

Not so good points
- the inside pool/jacuzzi is tiny and crowded. We didn't stay here long
- you have to walk through the reception in your bathrobe with people off the street sitting there when you go from changing room/sauna to outside pool. Would be nice if there were a back stairs
- the cafe menu is pretty poor. Consider taking your own snacks and water to rehydrate
- the weekend price is higher and if crowded this wouldn't be such a lovely experience

Overall - a fantastic experience for a dull day. We felt wonderfully relaxed by the end

We bought a one day entrance for 35 lv./person what includes indoor spa and pools and outdoor area. First we entered spa where were 2 saunas and a steam room and relax beds-standard. The outdoor area we like the most. Man can choose of many pools of various temperature, visit one of 3 saunas or have a snack in buffet (food isn’t included in the price). For is as a foreigners was disadvantage that in spa isn’t possible to pay with card.

If you want to go to the hot pools do not go here. The place has a super hot pool, near 80 degress which yu cant enter and has 30 degrees pools that are not very hot. The entrence costs much more than the pools. Not recomended

Really worth the trip out.

Took the outside option - a couple of pools closed but 7 or 8 open. Very clean - not very crowded. Had a nice afternoon relaxing in the hot tubs.

Ignore the reviews that say there weren't any changing rooms - just walk down to the second or third level no there are changing rooms there. Plus a very nice sauna / snack bar etc.

Highly recommended.

We came here after a a visit to Rila monastery and a long day walking the day before. There is a small indoor pool which we skipped, but the outdoor pools are very nice. The outdoor pools you can actually access without going this blue building, saving the costs for the indoor pool. We did not have time for one of the offered treatments.
The outdoor pools come in four different temperatures and you can smell from the sulfur it is mineral water, same as the nearby geyser. In the back there is a pool with a bar as well.

We saw nice pics on the net, came from Sofia there and ..... disgusting! It was small and overcrowded and we even did not enter it (except to take a look of).... A group of another foreign tourists also did a similar thing, they were not able to enter it either.... Stuff did not speak English and I felt they did not care about tourists at all.... everything was very ugly, feeling was terrible. So, we spent money in vain, lost a day in vain.... DO NOT DO THE SAME!

When we entered the place we discovered that we have to undress outside at -5 C. We didn't take off the closes, just went out and asked to recive our money back. The administration refused to return us the money. 30 peaple paid for transfer and for entrance to the place and went back without any
