The main season to come to this wat is to see the Buddhist scripture library. Although it is diminutive in size, it is a real beauty. Set atop a dense cluster of pillars, all with lotus-bud capitals, it exemplifies a timber library from a rural community. Especially fine is the two-tiered roof, the roof ornaments and the lintels with their glass mosaic work in the form of kalas (a kind of demon.)
The vihaan is also quite attractive, as is the large, wooden pavilion (sala) at the front of the complex.
Entrance is free.
