The main season to come to this wat is to see the Buddhist scripture library. Although it is diminutive in size, it is a real beauty. Set atop a dense cluster of pillars, all with lotus-bud capitals, it exemplifies a timber library from a rural community. Especially fine is the two-tiered roof, the roof ornaments and the lintels with their glass mosaic work in the form of kalas (a kind of demon.)
