Unique waterfall fed by hot spring
Sep 2020 • Friends
nice for kids to play in the shallow water.
Also interesting circular boaredwalk through the edge of Phu sang national park. To be accessed climbing the stairs to the immediate left of the waterfall. after the stairs follow the walkway and stop at points of interest and information provided in English and Thai learning about the local forest and its hot springs

Nature walk too
Oct 2019 • Solo
The waterfall was nice, but not spectacular. Overall though, the setting is beautiful. Nicely landscaped and litter free. Parking was 30b but the falls area was free. If you choose to do the nature walk, it is 100b. It's about 1km, 30 minutes, and with the exception of the initial climb and one other small stairway, it's an easy stroll on a raised boardwalk. Shaded nearly the entire length. Several food sellers and toilets are located across the road. Easy drive from Chiang Kham. Worth the trip.

Phu Sang Waterfall
Mar 2019 • Friends
Phu Sang Waterfall is a nice place for recreation, special also for children. There is a small hiking path to show the nature. Be careful with the path. I stood on a wooden panel which broke under my body weight.
There are several local restaurants across the road.

This tent spot is able to see the complex mountain scenery.Get a very beautiful panorama. On some cold days, there will be a misty sea to watch as well. At sunrise, the golden light of the sun will shine down into the mountains. Is calm and full of nature.

Not sure if I'd recommend going out of your way for this area, but it is beautiful, a great spot for a picnic and a swim

A beautiful park with a pretty waterfall and you can paddle in the river
Dec 2018 • Couples
It's a great place to spend an hour or two. If the trails are open you can talk a walk through some interesting nature trails and see the local environment. There's a big waterfall and in the pool it falls into you can paddle and have fun. It's a popular place for families to come and have a picnic. Don't worry, you can buy food and drink just across the road. I wouldn't recommend it as a single place to head for a day out unless you're local - look to combine it with another place.

After going to phu chi fa for the sunrise tour, we swinged by here on the way back before heading to Chiang Rai.

Overall, there is a lot of jungle feeling and Forrest and the waterfall including the front view is pretty nice. But there are a lot better ones in Thailand. It is not allowed to swim here which was quite the downer as we were hoping for a cool dip after hiking.

The same goes for the hot spring. It is more of a swamp/ garden pond with floating leaves and Lillies. You just need 20 min max to walk around. Only costs 100baht

If it is on the way, check it out. Otherwise give it a miss.

Silly parking charges and entrance fees
Oct 2017 • Couples
20 baht to park your bike. Just drive 50m further down the road and park it there for free. It's a nonsense.

100 baht to enter - 20 baht for Thais, so go after 4.30pm and there'll probably be nobody there to sell you a ticket. Nature trail won't take more than an hour so it'll still be light by the time you come out.

This reviews applies only to the Phu Sang waterfall entrance to the park, other entrances to the park might have different policies, I don't know.

The waterfall is luke warm, not hot.

Nice and beautiful. Unfortunately the trails were closed due to reparation of some bridges (Low season) Instead we had some food at a restaurant there, not so clean and would have been nice with a fan or ac! There's a reception with good information and pictures.
