Go for it if you love the sea and nature...
Jan 2021
Beautiful environment, friendly people. Accomodation simple but you have everuthying you need. Camping literally metres from the beach, Tents available for rent at the Park, Good value for money. Just need a bit more care about plastic washing up on the beach. Maybe from boats? Sea is warm and very peaceful....definitely worth it. At the moment not too crowded. Food is also good and healthy.

Peaceful and relaxing...
Feb 2021
Really beautiful place to enjoy with friendly staff and people. A bit of plastic from the sea and maybe fishing boats which is a pity but otherwise a great location, good value for money. Sea is beautiful and I would return.

2 price Thailand
Jan 2020 • Couples
Beautiful beach, completely empty but 2 price system for foreigners. If this was one price for all I would give 5 stars.

Great beach and beautiful setting!
Aug 2019
We stayed overnight in one of the Park's one-bedroom studio units. Very clean and perfectly situated under the Casuarina trees and beachside. Larger 2 and 3 bedroom bungalows are also available, plus beachside camping. Very good facilities from our looking around. Onsite Thai restautnat provides breakfast, lunch and early dinners. Staff in the Visitors centre are also helpful. The beach is wonderful and more than 6 or 7 kilometres long. Water quality along the beach is also clean and appealing.

Snorkeling at Koh Jan
May 2017
Koh Jan locate in Hat Wanakorn National Park. For the people who want to go to snorkel around there, you can contact Khun Som (the officer) 0819449956 for booking date and time. You should go during Feb-Apr. At first I book to go on 13 May 2017. But the weather was bad. So the officer canceled the trip. I choose to book another day on 14 May 2017. I waited until 11.30 A.M. to go snorkeling. I advice the people book at the first round of the day. Because I booked at 11 A.M. When I arrive at Koh Jan. The water was too shallow. It was dangerous to snorkel. It has sea urchin, rock corals. It can cut your skin and you'll get hurt or injured. The corals are plenty. But the sea animals are few. It's still beautiful.

Beautiful
Feb 2017 • Family
Don't tell anyone, but this is a beautiful beach, completely empty and in near natural state. We camped at the beach, there were 3 other tents, the park rangers are friendly, the facilities excellent, and there's really nothing left to ask for.

Empty beaches!
Jul 2016 • Family
We walked to the beach from Huay Yang. The beaches were completly empty so we had the whole park to ourselves. You do not need to pay the park entrance fee if you walk in along the beach. Thailand is great to visit in the summer!

A protected beach and coastal forest with offshore snorkelling
Jan 2016 • Friends
We just visited to eat lunch and relax by an, for Thailand, untouched beach. The ranger station, restaurant and camp site are under pine trees beside the beach and facilities are modern and clean.

We saw several birds, most notably some red wattled lapwings and Indian Rollers.

It's a peaceful, green place to relax and break a journey
