You can do it, just take your time and bring plenty of water. You can replenish your bottles at the top with filtered water

Several centuries ago, this area was a huge trading port where ships from India and the Roman Empire met ships from China. Beautiful glass beads were the currency of trade and this museum has a splendid collection.

Wat Khlong Thom Museum history lovers should find the opportunity to study the story of Klong Thom beads that had happened in the past to awaken the beads through this museum, which preserved many ancient artifacts, tourists interested in history if coming here may fall in love. Because this temple has both the famous beads and the history of the Krabi people that allow tourists to access the feelings of the Krabi people deeply.

Klong Tomb Museum at Wat Klong Tomb. about 50 km south of Krabi by highway no. 4.
A nice small museum with items from the surrounding area. But most beads.
It is reported that a ship with glass beads from Africa had sailed up the river (then the river must have been bigger) the ship turned upside down and millions of beads fell out.
The place is protected by law now, it's not far from Wat Klong Tomb and the local digs still beads up from the river bottom. Just south of Wat Klong Tomb is a small blacksmith and here you can illegally buy beads made to pearl necklaces.
Exciting place.
