Mae Fah Luang Garden is located in Doi Tung area (also including nearby Doi Tung Royal Villa, Hall of Inspiration).

It has fountain, beautiful flowers decorated with different concept for your visit, looking or posing pictures. And the key highlight here is The sculpture "Continuity", ends of the Garden to exit gate.

Must visit when you arrive Chiang Rai.

We spent a very relaxing hour or so in the gardens. They are very well kept with plants imaginatively displayed. Lots of them are plants that are usually found in cooler climates that that of Thailand, so if you are from the UK expect to see some that are very familiar. I personally really enjoyed the orchids. Well worth a visit.

Just a really beautiful place to be in the moment - stunning views over the mountain. Look out for some sneaky views on the road up / down the mountain. Suspension bridge closed at time of posting. The restaurant there was lovely for some Pad Thai but don’t expect Western food.

90 Baht entrance fee. It was raining when I was there so I went in anyways just because I was already there. Not easy to take pictures in the rain but the garden is indeed breathtaking. Artistically designed and flowers were beautifully arranged. Good to spend half a day here taking photographs!

We were there during the Asean Flower Festival and it looked amazing. There was also free entertainment with a live band & dancers with seating under cover for about 300-400 right next to some of the food vendors. At night there are amazing light displays and there was alos heaps of parking available

We were very fortunate to see the gardens in full bloom - a sea of colour. It was not crowded and there is a fair bit to see so provided you take your time it is a relatively easy walk. However, it is worth considering that the gardens are built on a sloping incline and you exit via an upward sloping path of approximately 100 metres.

The gardens here are an amazing achievement. They are immaculate and brimming with plants, flowers, trees and landscaped features. It's very impressive. Maybe a little too western for my tastes but that's just quibbling really. The site is easy to walk around and it's a little cooler being higher up. A leisurely stroll around shouldn't be too strenuous for the average person.

One thing I have to say is that out of the three attractions here this was my least favourite. The one not to miss for me was the Hall of Inspiration. The exhibition answers a lot of questions you might have about the royal family, gardens, pavilion and the life changing transformational project itself. It really was quite inspirational.

We visited the three local attractions and spent about an hour at each. Entry is 90 baht per attraction but a combined ticket is available for 220 baht. The drive from Chiang Rai was about 1 hour 15 mins and we used a Grab rental for driver and car who waited for us before returning.

It has an area of 10 rai which become a garden of cold winter flowers such as Salvia Petunia Begonia roses, flowers, auspicious trees, perennials and more than 70 species of wood sculpture. We arrived in Chiang Rai in early afternoon and saw this place advertised. About 40 minutes north of the city and we almost didn't go because of it's 5pm closing time. SO GLAD we went. These are some of the most beautiful, well tended gardens I've seen. Not terribly large but stunning. There is an elevated tree walk (safely harnessed in) above the wooded part of the area with breathtaking vistas into the mountains. We loved that but the reason to be here is the garden. Such a peaceful, contemplative place.

The gardens and flowers here are fantastic, but the roads to Mae Fah Luang are also great... golden triangle, forested mountains, preaceful villages of the Pahee people, who are friendly and also famous for their coffee
