It would take you little more than a hop, skip and a jump to travel across Thailand from the Gulf of Siam to the Cambodian border at Klong Yai, in Thailand's south eastern province of Trat. Here the border is just 480 meters. But like...More

I stayed here for a few days, years ago... It was a quiet place, with friendly people and without tourists. The simple hotel was actually built on stilts in the fishing harbour, and I cherish the memories of this friendky place.

After asking several local people including police officers, all of who proved to be so friendly&willing to be of help in telling the way (as always in Thailand), I managed to get to the scenic point to enjoy the view overlooking the Myanmar-side coastline, along...More
