Not many tourists, you'll get nice picture of local Thai peoples life. One big Tesco grocery store, otherwise small shops every where. There is a one big night market :)

This region is a crossover between Thai and Lao , and food reflects this. I was told that I had picked up a northern accent which I liked very much , as all of my friends spoke the same . AH the food what can I say - roasted chicken dripped with honey and chillies , and eaten with Sticky rice ---is to die for . If you eat too much , you will need a quick nap to get over the taste overload.
