The Exquisite South - Eco Luxury Escape
This luxurious 4 day / 3 nights off-the-beaten track getaway, offers a glimpse into Thailand’s mystical past and its hidden natural treasures. We spend the first night at a boutique beach-front resort on the Gulf of Thailand, a place where rare pink dolphins still roam freely. The following afternoon you will head to higher ground to a riverside resort nestled high in the mountains famed for having the purest air in Thailand. From here, we then descend into the seldom visited province of Phattalung, to stay at a top eco-resort surrounded by ancient mangrove forests right on the lake of Thale Noi.

This is a unique getaway combining culture and pristine nature, you’ll discover a way of life rapidly disappearing in modern Thailand, where local people have coexisted for centuries alongside wild rivers, vast inland lakes and incredibly bio-diverse wetland ecosystems.

We visited in August, did a two hour early dawn boat ride, so there were no migrant birds and no big lily bloom...and it was still fantastic. Thale Noi was teeming with life and there was so much to see. I can only imagine how great it would be during the winter months.

The lake is soo beautiful. At first there was just water but going further into the lake we saw waterlilies everywhere and they looked so peaceful. Makes and ideal place to meditate in the quiet peacefulness. There are more waterlilies than lotus flowers but who cares. loved it.
