Rosemary Beach is a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's gulf coast, between Panama City and Destin, at the eastern end of Scenic Route 30A. Easily accessible by air or by car, the town is a 30-minute drive from the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport and a one-hour drive from the Fort Walton Beach Okaloosa Airport. The Rosemary Beach Land Company and President Patrick Bienvenue had a vision they wanted to share with the world. In 1995, that vision became a reality and Rosemary Beach was born. Rosemary Beach Land Company’s development plan is founded in the principles of New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Development. Inspired by other classic beach towns, the 107-acre, gulf-front town of Rosemary Beach was designed to bring back the notions of community, neighborhood and convenience. In other words, this slice of heaven on earth offers residents the opportunity to live and work in paradise. In their search for paradise, people often travel to the far corners of the earth, only to come up empty-handed. In reality, paradise is a lot closer than most people think. Long stretches of pristine beaches made up of the brightest of white sands. Refreshing breezes blowing off the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The peace and tranquility of gently lapping surf, singing gulls and sandpipers. These are things that have been quietly awaiting discovery in a section of Florida's panhandle. These are the ingredients that make up the town Rosemary Beach--paradise found.Residents of Rosemary Beach are lucky to not only live and work here, but also to have the opportunity to play here. When work is finished and the rest of the errands can wait, Rosemary Beach is the perfect location for a vacation. Mild year-round temperatures, yet still a change of season; spectacular beaches free from crowds; the natural beauty of a beach-side destination located on a designated scenic road; aesthetically-pleasing architecture and award-winning, expertly-designed layout; convenient and quaint town center, amenities such as tennis courts, pools, dune walkovers to the beach and lots of green areas in which to relax; these are the qualities of the new paradise of Rosemary Beach.

Rosemary beach is wonderful. A spectacular family vacation spot Schulz cottage, however, is not. It sounds and looks wonderful on website, but at the price paid (~$1100/night plus tax), it is not worth it. Internet does not work. Works MAYBE half the time, and when it does its at the speed of dialup. Literally impossible for anyone trying to work... More

Rosemary beach is a family friendly and picturesque destination. We stayed in a cottage on the Parkside close to the town center. We booked through the RB Cottage Rental service which was always very helpful. Bikes are HUGE here so having children that can ride or ride with training wheels is a big plus. There are activities throughout the week... More

We had never been to the FL gulf and loved it. Beaches were beautiful, clear water and nice sand. Good for young children (ages 2 and 4) since sandbars keep the water level low and younger kids can ride the waves. Not as good as the TX gulf (Port A) where the surf is very gentle for really young kids,... More

We visited Rosemary Beach for the first time. Our family travels together every few years (4 sons, wives and grandchildren) and we all loved it. There was absolutely no reason to leave the property (except for grocery store). We loved the beach and pool area. We rented bicycles and rode around Rosemary and down 30-A. There are several wonderful restaurants... More

We spent the 4th of July in Rosemary Beach with family and friends. We loved the little town, atmosphere, and beach. The fireworks on the beach were awesome! Be prepared for a lot of traffic, joggers, bikers, and almost no parking. By the end of the week our teens were restless as there is not much for them to do... More

Love Rosemary beach. Fun shops and restaurants. Great for families or couples looking to get away. Almost European looking architecture.

This place is a fantastic family vacation destination, beautiful, clean , well organised with nice little restaurants, great accommodations for middle high to high budget families. Upscale not pretentious. Enjoy the beach in the morning and a nice afternoon bike ride with your family and finish your day eating at a nice restaurant enjoying a great dish and a nice... More

What a fantastic meal! Great for foodies, and it was such a pleasant surprise to see an equal number of locals and visitors there. It felt like a real local hangout!

I was reluctant to write a review because, I would really like for this place to remain a 'best kept secret.' We stayed on the south side of 30a, which is just steps away from the Beach, plus 4 swimming pools and tennis courts. The roads are cobblestone, there's lots of shade trees, and most all of the visitors walk... More
