Rosemary Beach is a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's gulf coast, between Panama City and Destin, at the eastern end of Scenic Route 30A. Easily accessible by air or by car, the town is a 30-minute drive from the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport and a one-hour drive from the Fort Walton Beach Okaloosa Airport. The Rosemary Beach Land Company and President Patrick Bienvenue had a vision they wanted to share with the world. In 1995, that vision became a reality and Rosemary Beach was born. Rosemary Beach Land Company’s development plan is founded in the principles of New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Development. Inspired by other classic beach towns, the 107-acre, gulf-front town of Rosemary Beach was designed to bring back the notions of community, neighborhood and convenience. In other words, this slice of heaven on earth offers residents the opportunity to live and work in paradise. In their search for paradise, people often travel to the far corners of the earth, only to come up empty-handed. In reality, paradise is a lot closer than most people think. Long stretches of pristine beaches made up of the brightest of white sands. Refreshing breezes blowing off the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The peace and tranquility of gently lapping surf, singing gulls and sandpipers. These are things that have been quietly awaiting discovery in a section of Florida's panhandle. These are the ingredients that make up the town Rosemary Beach--paradise found.Residents of Rosemary Beach are lucky to not only live and work here, but also to have the opportunity to play here. When work is finished and the rest of the errands can wait, Rosemary Beach is the perfect location for a vacation. Mild year-round temperatures, yet still a change of season; spectacular beaches free from crowds; the natural beauty of a beach-side destination located on a designated scenic road; aesthetically-pleasing architecture and award-winning, expertly-designed layout; convenient and quaint town center, amenities such as tennis courts, pools, dune walkovers to the beach and lots of green areas in which to relax; these are the qualities of the new paradise of Rosemary Beach.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our brief visit to the Silver Sea Carriage House at Rosemary Beach, Florida. The carriage house was very comfortable, and my daughter loved the accommodations upstairs with her own TV and a king sized bed. She enjoyed the back balcony as a place to watch Downton Abbey free from parental interference. We really liked... More

Love the community of Rosemary Beach. The only negative is how close the houses are to each other, but once see how you are in such close proximity to all the amenities you fall in love with the area. Everything you need is within walking distance with the exception of a grocery store, but there are many fabulous restaurants, even... More

Really beautiful beaches with white sand and clear water. Upscale beach resort town with shops, restaurants, the works.

What a beautiful little city in itself. We just drove through on our way to PCB. Beaches looked nice. The shops and houses were beautiful.

Although it looks like another example of the urban concepts of The New Urbanism as found in Seaside, it is not until one experiences it first hand that it is understood how this is less of a town and more of a resort. A resort consisting of stores, restaurants, and houses, some privately owned, that get rented but treated similar... More

Rosemary beach is beautiful. White sand, clear gentle water. Town reminded me of a Disney village. Walk or bike everywhere. Felt out of place the couple of times I was driving the car. Close enough to PCB for air port, fast food, entertainment, etc., but far enough away to be relaxing.

The small waves were great for our grandsons age 7 and 9. The beach is clean and well groomed. There are rest room facility's close by. It was all ages (infant to grandparents) and all well behaved and enjoying the day. No lifeguard. Sent one evening just to watch the sunset.

I have been to this general area before (Seaside and Fort Walton Beach in particular) but it has been as recently as nine years ago. I found Rosemary Beach to be really pretty and clean, but I also found it difficult to traverse. There doesn't seem to be much hard packed sand between where the waves tapered off and the... More

Some of the best beaches in the U.S.! Can't beat the WHITE sand! Rosemary is so much more relaxing and less commericalized than the Destin area. I believe the communities do not allow all the commercial restaurants and hotels to come in and purchase property just to keep it like small beach villages along 30A. Rosemary is the first community... More

Rosemary beach is wonderful. A spectacular family vacation spot Schulz cottage, however, is not. It sounds and looks wonderful on website, but at the price paid (~$1100/night plus tax), it is not worth it. Internet does not work. Works MAYBE half the time, and when it does its at the speed of dialup. Literally impossible for anyone trying to work... More
