Rosemary Beach is a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's gulf coast, between Panama City and Destin, at the eastern end of Scenic Route 30A. Easily accessible by air or by car, the town is a 30-minute drive from the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport and a one-hour drive from the Fort Walton Beach Okaloosa Airport. The Rosemary Beach Land Company and President Patrick Bienvenue had a vision they wanted to share with the world. In 1995, that vision became a reality and Rosemary Beach was born. Rosemary Beach Land Company’s development plan is founded in the principles of New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Development. Inspired by other classic beach towns, the 107-acre, gulf-front town of Rosemary Beach was designed to bring back the notions of community, neighborhood and convenience. In other words, this slice of heaven on earth offers residents the opportunity to live and work in paradise. In their search for paradise, people often travel to the far corners of the earth, only to come up empty-handed. In reality, paradise is a lot closer than most people think. Long stretches of pristine beaches made up of the brightest of white sands. Refreshing breezes blowing off the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The peace and tranquility of gently lapping surf, singing gulls and sandpipers. These are things that have been quietly awaiting discovery in a section of Florida's panhandle. These are the ingredients that make up the town Rosemary Beach--paradise found.Residents of Rosemary Beach are lucky to not only live and work here, but also to have the opportunity to play here. When work is finished and the rest of the errands can wait, Rosemary Beach is the perfect location for a vacation. Mild year-round temperatures, yet still a change of season; spectacular beaches free from crowds; the natural beauty of a beach-side destination located on a designated scenic road; aesthetically-pleasing architecture and award-winning, expertly-designed layout; convenient and quaint town center, amenities such as tennis courts, pools, dune walkovers to the beach and lots of green areas in which to relax; these are the qualities of the new paradise of Rosemary Beach.

You can find no prettier water! Restaurants are in walking distance are 5 stars as well as The Pearl Hotel. Great place to bring a family and ride bikes every where you need to go. Walk for miles on the beach in fluffy white pristine sand with turquoise water. The Caribbean has lava rock in there turquoise water. Here is... More

Don't drive down hoping to see the beach as every walkover is locked and you need the code to get in and out. It keeps it exclusive and I guess people feel safer. You can walk the square and Main Street and I would recommend eating at the Wild Olive to make it worth the visit.

We had a great time in Rosemary. We were very surprised how busy it was though. We love the area. Stayed at The Pearl for the first time. Beautiful rooms. Great staff. Disappointed in the restaurant though. Food was overrated and overpriced and service was slow. Great area though!

We found our room to have missing light bulbs, not well cleaned, and with some of the outlets not working. Overall, we were disappointed and it did affect our visit. It seemed that these things should not be given the price and location.

Rosemary Beach is an absolutely wonderful destination for a beach vacation. Arrive, park your car for the duration of your stay, and enjoy the beautiful beach and all the surrounding community ammentities. Dining, shopping, sidewalks for strolling (or biking) - it's all there. It can be a little pricey but it is well worth the money. Beach houses with carriage... More

Although most places to stay here would accommodate a family, most of the dining is upscale and geared to couples. And there is nothing more romantic than walking or riding bikes down Rosemary's narrow streets and walking on the beach. Stay at The Pearl and celebrate a birthday or anniversary rather than family vacation. But do so in spring or... More

This is without a doubt one of the most stunning communities in all of Florida. The architecture, ambience and environment is like nothing I have ever seen. Many multi million dollar houses on quaint, beautiful streets. Most of them have carriage house style garages and exquisite landscaping. There is a commercial shopping/dining area and the beaches are second to none.... More

This area of the panhandle was so much fun. Rosemary and Seacrest was so relaxed. For us it was a short walk across 30A to the clean white sand and beach. We were there in October so the water temp was a tad chilly, but once you got in it was great. Nice wave action and the water was clear.... More

Very expensive place to stay. Walked to everything. Only ate dinner out. Not real crowded @ off season, otherwise wall to wall people.
