I'd noticed that they were opening for dinner and each time drove past, committed to having dinner here. As I've said before, this is a great spot in one of the prettiest valleys in Australia.
The valley desperately needs more activities and more visitors to support them. Locals don't seem to eat out and have little need for cafes. Conversely visitors need something to attract them.
It would seem that dinner here lasted a couple of weeks and due to lack of support, closed in a short time.
Tis a pity - this is a great spot.

Surprisingly, few people know about Yarramalong - it is one of Australia's most beautiful valleys and watching the local mists come over the hills and through the valleys is quite wonderful.
This farm is a beautiful property backing onto a rainforest and has many hundreds of trees planted some 40 years ago.
You can buy the nuts directly or through many other cafes.
A great spot to stop for coffee on your drive through the Valley.

Thank you for such a lovely review of the farm and the valley. I just wanted to correct that our Macadamia Nuts are only available from our cafe as we don't supply anyone else. Many thanks, Linda

At the time of your visit in November 2010 the farm and cafe were closed for renovations after the previous management ended their lease. The farm and cafe reopened in December 2010. I think you will find the new owners have made it a very friendly and interesting experience since then.
