A stunning view across the Hawkesbury/Pittwater area.
This is a lookout that can be easily missed, particularly if you are not a local of the Coastal area.
Lion Island, Palm Beach. the lighthouse are all visible from this vantage point.
One of the best lookouts on the Central Coast - not to be missed if visiting the southern area of the Coast,

Warranty Lookout is well worth a visit with its amazing views of some of Sydney’s best waterways.
Take a walk from Patonga, you will love it.

This LO was a real surprise to us, offering brilliant views across the Hawkesbury / Pittwater, including Palm Beach and the Barrenjoey Lighthouse. It's a tough scramble up the hill from Patonga, but there is a made track with steps cut into the rock and it will all seem worthwhile when you reach the top. On a good day (as we had) the views are just sublime.

15 minute drive from Ettalong, off road side road (not easily visible, must pay attention to GPS), 500m downhill track with stairs, steps and flat path from the Carpark.
Not a must see but if you're looking for a bit of a bushwalk this is ok.

Nice place to spot whales if they are in migration season. It can get windy. The walk from pearl beach to patonga is not that pretty

Do the walk to the lookout from the Patonga beach side. The way up is a bit steeper but there are rock steps the whole way. There are wonderful views the whole way up, many of them better than the actual lookout. The walk from Pearl beach is a long gradual slope on a gravel road which may be easier for some, but you do sacrifice on the view. If you do go from this side keep heading up the hill and you'll be treated to some wonderful views in a really picturesque locations.

You can get to this via the old pearl beach/patonga track, or (as most would do) from the main road. Either entry point involves a walk. The easiest of which is from the carpark (ie, not from pearl beach or patonga!). It is a fair walk involving some stairs and slightly slippery surfaces, but it is by no means difficult.

While the road to the lookout is dirt and not ideal for my little sports car, once we arrived at the car park it was an easy 500m walk to the lookout. The path is perfectly sealed and once you arrive, the views over Broken Bay and the Hawkesbury are breathtaking.

The walk to the lookout is well thought through and easy paved. 500 meters of lovely protected bushland. The lookout itself is fantastic and my photos really say it all. If you enjoy a wide panorama and views out to palm beach then it's a must. Not far out of Patonga it's definitely a visit on the trip.
