Probably more to it than meets the eye

I visited this little National Park to do the Emerald Pool circuit walk. I didn't choose my day well: it was hot and hazy with the smoke of far-away bushfires. The walk is largely on firetrails - boring as. But the Emerald Pool was delightful for a cool refreshing nudey dip! Mt Olive was OK but not the view I was expecting. Not many spring flowers about.
