A nice little place with pleasant surroundings, we went for Mother’s Day Sunday lunch and left feeling underwhelmed. The beef was ok (a bit over cooked) and was accompanied by two dry roasted potatoes and gravy. Side veg consisted of new potatoes, carrots and broccoli....More

Having visited this cafe ... i can say that the cafe was clean and the service excellent. We had sandwiches and salad which were very good and accompanied by good coffee. Many thanks we will be back.

We had a wonderful lunch in the Café Patchings outdoor terrasse, a vegan nut roast with rice and a vegetarian aubergine and mushroom pie, both were delicious and came in generous portions. The country air was warm and calm, and people spoke in hush voices.
