This lake is a must see. Surrounded by the Brenta mountains, it's crystal clear water provides spectacular reflections of the snow capped mountains. Enjoy the 45 minute walk around the lake and make sure to see the amazing waterfall.

Went for a small hike around this lake. Watch out because parking is at a premium, and you can end up hiking about 5 km to get there! Once you're there though, it's totally worth it. Loved the colour of the lake and the walk...More

Lake Tovel is easily reached from nearby Tuenno by car or bus. It's an official park, so there are rangers, an entry fee (at least for cars) and plenty of help and information, akin to the set up in US National Parks. The lake is...More

nice lake but also make sure you walk around the woods and stop also on your way up as the panorama's are fantastic. It's a bit isolated and check for parking or bus timings

I think the best way is to rent a car, and drive for 4 hours (from Malpensa,). little bit less from Milan city (30min less). but it's worth, if you love mountains.
