This is a truly stunning village in the Mayenne region, with the castle taking centre stage in re-telling its history. It is a wonderful set up, with breathtaking views from the ramparts and at centre stage is a museum with wonderful exhibits to assimilate. Walking...More

The castle is worth visiting because it relates part of Great Britain's and France's histories particularly in the medieval times. However, maybe more importantly, Sainte Suzanne is one of the most beautiful villages in France. Do not forget to have a look at the medieval...More

You can walk around and see most of this without having to pay. The village and it's narrow streets are beautiful. And the views from the walks around the outside of the fortifications are incredible.
