- Roam618151863221 contributionWell worth a visitPaul is a fantastic guide who is happy to share his alpaca knowledge with you (in English and French). You are given the opportunity to feed the alpacas and we were lucky enough to meet the babies! It is also nice to look around the boutique and see how the alpaca fibres have been transformed into beautifully soft handmade accessories, clothing and yarn. Definitely worth a visit!Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 23, 2024

Paul was professional and showed great passion and care for the alpacas and gave great detail about their life, he allowed us to feed the alpacas and pet the baby alpaca on its neck. Lovely experience and would love to visit again next time I’m in France.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 23, 2024

The tour was guided by Paul, one of the founders of this spectacular farm and I can only say that not only did we have the pleasure of learning the history of the beginnings of this farm, but we also got a lot of information that we didn't know about these camelids. I was born in Peru and I love alpacas, and it gave me great joy to know that not only are there people in France so passionate about raising these beautiful and cuddly animals, but they also treat them with so much love. This is definitely a tour that I 100% recommend for animal lovers, those passionate about alpacas or anyone who is looking for a different experience in France.Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 5, 2024

We found this little gem by chance and we were not disappointed. Paul who so lovely and gave a very informative and interactive tour of the alpaca farm. He was very good with our 3 children, especially our child with additional needs and really helped to make him feel included. We would highly recommend visiting and we will definitely be back. Thank you Paul!

Mum and I came on a rainy day for a tour and to visit the shop and had such a magical time. The Alpaca boys are simply charming hosts and graciously took their time to explain about the process and introduce us to their fur babies! It was a magical couple of hrs definitely something we will repeat especially as I have now discovered they do afternoon tea visit and when the baby alpacas will arrive. Recommend for families, friends or just to lift your soul.

Back from France & in isolation I look back on our trip to the Alapacas as the highlight of my stay. Owner Paul told us how they have developed the Farm over the last 12 years, & have a wonderful life looking after & breeding these adorable animals. The tour was so informative, interesting & humerous including the history of the breed, the use of their wonderful fleece, their individual personalites & how they have bred such valuable animals. A real treat was to be able to get so close & interact with the adults & babies.
Interesting shop & I now need to find my needles to start knitting! Lovely gifts too.
A MUST if you are in the Villefranche de Rouergue area of Averyron.

First thing to notice was how well signposted the entrance was - We arrived as a group of adults and a 2 year old and we were surprised to find the adults had as much fun as the child! We were a bit late but were welcomed (in both French and English) warmly and looked after in shady seating whilst we waited for our tour. There was plenty to see and learn and the animals were very calm and friendly. We especially enjoyed our chance to feed some and they were very gentle - much enjoyed by the child, perfectly safe. Especially impressed by how well they engaged the child, as well as one of our guests with additional needs. Most of us went away dreaming of following their foot steps as Alpaca farmers!

Paul welcomes you to this little remote corner of Aveyron. The first part of the visit, you will be able to admire the females and the cubs. We were lucky enough to see one born the day before and to touch the long neck of Electra, a small female. Many explanations about this species are provided throughout the visit.
Then we went to feed the young males.
The store consists of products made from alpaca wool from its farm.
Paul is passionate, very available and the visits are done in small groups.
For the price, it's worth it!

My mum has always the most unusual ideas when it comes to organise a road trip. One of the last she had was to visit an alpaca's farm (and with a bit of luck, being able to pet some). All of her (and my) expectations were totally fulfilled. Paul gave us an insightful tour about the alpaca's world, giving us the possibility to pet a baby and feed some youngsters.
This has been an amazing and memorable experience for the two of us 😍. Thank you!

Excellent experience! We discovered with great pleasure the breeding of DuPrem alpacas. We enjoyed an excellent welcome and very interesting explanations about alpacas, their character and their silky wool. We saw adults, teenagers and babies one of whom was born just before our arrival!!

We had an amazing experience here on the 16th July 2023. These beautiful alpacas were amazing animals; we stroked and fed them and Paul gave a brilliant informative tour and talk.
The shop has amazing merchandise and we finished off around a stunning pool for afternoon tea
Damian and Paul are such welcoming people and this is well worth a visit
