We really enjoyed our visit to Gua Tempurung this time around as we made our visit during a weekday. The trail inside the cave was spectacular and we had all the time we needed to look around to enjoy its beauty; of both the nature & cave, without being rushed around. Highly recommended.

The caves are very extensive and even as I am writing this, more unknown caves are being explored. The Gua Tempurung caves which is open to the public is only a small part of the complete complex. Essentially there are two walks to do, the upper walk and the lower. The lower is the more interesting as it goes deep... More

The signage is not good to find this place so you have to prepare and study a bit upfront. we chose tour N.2, supposed to take 1h45min. We did it in 1h20min. Climbing up and down stairs requires some stamina and average fit, not suitable for kids or old people. Inside the cave feels like Nature's Cathedral, impressive. Totally worth... More

Simply smazing. We really loved crawling through the river. The guides were professional and friendly. Our two children, 7 and 9, enjoyed the grand tour so much. If you are fit and want the adventure, do go for the grand tour. You can get the stalactites and stalagmites in many places, but in Gua Tempurung, you really get to experience... More

i went there with a few good friends and it turn out to be enjoyable and quite relaxing. The first part of the trip is dry and the 2nd part which is wet is the enjoyable one. Do prepare some light snacks as we will be hungry and wear long sleeves t shirts and track bottoms. I want to go... More

The natural cave itself is impressive. I was surprised by how large the cave chambers were. You definitely can't get the feel of the size from looking at the photos. The gigantic formations scattered around were also very impressive. The temperature in the cave is pleasant but the extremely high humidity make you sweat with every step you take. It's... More

The cave itself is a natural splendour. Despite it's small unassuming entrance, it later opens up into several large caverns with a good sprinkling of beautiful cave formations that are worth seeing. There is a short wind tunnel about halfway through which is a pleasant relief from the otherwise humid environment of the cave. Stairs are in some parts steep... More

We went for Tour 1 (dry & shorter tour). However, be prepared to get soaked up in sweat from all the climbing of stairs in the cave. The ticket seller told us that there will be a tour guide, but the ranger just let us in without any tour guide. I think that the management should well preserve and maintain... More

Amazing magnificent underground city that look ordinary from outside. Be prepared to get wet by own sweat from all the walking and climbing stairs which may be challenging for young and old. A definite visit if you are in Ipoh.

Great Limestone Cave, there's four type of tour inside cave, dry and wet tour. We only take the 40 minutes tour inside cave, which you can get in without tour guide. Price higher for foreigner. View is beautiful, climbing is easy cause already have pathways and stairs. Inside gave there's light, no worry, this is the easiest track, just need... More
