I went with my family and we took a guided tour of this winery, on the hills of Verona, on the Valpolicella wine route, breathtaking views, beautiful. The very kind guide explained how they produce the different types of wines, showed the plantations and cellars. It was a wonderful experience. At the end we tasted his wines. Highly recommended.

We came here without having made a reservation, and were welcomed with only joy and kindness. Mrs Corsi took us all for a great tour of the winery, she explained the whole process of making wine in perfect english and with great professionalism. We had been at a bigger wine company earlier that day, and had a pretty sad and expensive tour there, so our expectations were not that high. But what a difference! This visit was lightyears from the first one! Now we learned a lot more and had a chance to ask all our questions. After the tour we were invited to the winetasing in the old cellar. As we already had tried their Ripasso at a local restaurant, we knew that the wine was good. And all of the wines were of the same high quality. We enjoyed every one of the wines we tried, and as they are priceworhty we took our chance to buy several from the shop. I would really recommend every one passing to visit Le Marognole. We will surely be back!

We arrived here after trying to visit several wineries in Valpolicella. It was vintage time and most places didn't have tastings. We were lucky to find Le Marognole and some friendly workers pointed us in the direction of the tasting room and a very helpful woman showed us the winery and we did some tastings. Of course, they have the standard Valpolicella Classico DOC which is a pleasant but straightforward wine. A level above is the Ripasso DOC which includes some of the remains of the dried grapes used for the Amarone DOCG. It's very reasonably priced at around EUR10. The Amarone is absolutely outstanding. It's expensive (EUR25) but the production process is very detailed involving drying the grapes for 8 months. They also had an interesting IGT called Il Nano which was really good also. They have a sweet red wine called Recioto DOCG which was not to our taste.

It's well worth the trip from Verona, although we didn't find many other places open - it's probably a good idea to call ahead.

We made a reservation in advance and Eleonore was very kind to give us all instructions how to get to the place and even assisted with booking a restaurant near by. For 8 euros only you can have a testing of 7 wines. We are in love with Amarone wine, so that was a highlight for us. FAmily also produces olive oil. We left Eleonore happy and with a nice wine selection for very reasonable prices. Do not miss it!

We stumbled upon this place after trying their wine for dinner and immediately fell for it. The Locanda told us who the producer was and we drove here the next day without
any reservation and we were warmly welcomed by The lady of the house and given a full tour of the place, finishing off with a tasting io all their wines in the old basement cellar. The hospitality was incredible, her English is excellent, their wines are to die for and very very good value for money. We will most certainly come back and warmly recommend a visit before going to any of the bigger dragons. Le Marognole have true passion for winemaking and it shows
