Most travellers will not stop. Vermilion Bay is between Dryden and Kenora and a inconvenient stop if required. Surprisingly is interesting and worth a stop to take a break from driving, or to switch drivers if heading north on Hwy 105 to Red Lake.More

We stopped here on a cross country road trip and were impressed with the displays. It’s a replica of Hudson’s Bay trading fort but has been updated to include an ice cream shop, miniature golf, and gift shop. It looks like a great place to...More

Beautiful fresh food. Great service. Great stop for us. Worth a drive to enjoy their food. Surprising selection of craft beer, kombucha, and pastries. We enjoyed BLT salads, lemon lavender cheesecake, and Nanimo bars. All lovely.

This is a great place to stop, have a snack or ice cream, and spend some time as a family. You can play a round of mini golf, play on the playground equipment or go for a hike. Very relaxing!

The food and service were great. We had sandwiches, but they also serve a breakfast on Saturday & Sunday mornings. Large area outside to walk around the fort, with a playground along with indoor & outdoor seating area's and a small gift shop.
