Away from the built-up areas, it is a hidden gem! Kids love the place, well kept and easy to park! An alternative to the beach, ideal for picnics!
There is café in the park, delicious cappuccino, lots of different options to eat. They do not accept cards, so make sure you have cash. Dogs are not allowed in the BOV adventure park, but right next to it, there is a huge park where dogs can run around!

First time this year we have been here and its a little hidden gem.
Equipment is all really new and well maintained.
Nice cafe and good prices.
Fountains and splash pools for the children to play in.
Best park in Malta and it is free.

I along with my wife, daughter, son-in-law and the three grandchildren were told of this place. We originally went to the "Petting Zoo" which we found out was just across the road from the adventure park. When we got to the zoo, my daughter and myself went into the office to pay, but we were told it was FREE (Paid for by the Maltese government) the grand children had a whale of a time. We then went back to the office to ask where we could get some refreshments, and were told to go across the road to the adventure park. There is a cafe inside the park and very reasonable prices. The park had ample different things for the kids to play on (Only one item was not working at the time).
The only downside to this day out was that every bus that we wanted to get on was FULL and didn't stop (Started at the bus stop at 3:50pm) . We eventually moved to the main road, but even this proved to be of no avail (The wind was absolutely horrendous, but not once did the kids complain, although we were in tee shirts and shorts!!!). After nearly 3 hours a bus stopped and took us into Mdina, where we eventually caught a bus to Bugibba. We eventually arrived back by our hotel at about 8pm.
With hindsight (WHICH IS WONDERFUL THING), and this is for people reading this, who are contemplating visiting MALTA, please be advised, IF THE BUS you want comes and goes without stopping, contemplate jumping on the first bus that will take you to VALETTA (It's only 1 and 1/2 Euros to travel on any bus) once at the Main Bus depot in Valetta you can get any number of buses to the destination you need. Okay it may take you an extra hour or so, but at least you in the warm and dry, THINK ABOUT IT!!
Still enjoyed it, and when we return to Malta, that's what we will be doing.

We happened to be in the area and just decided to visit. We had no expectations whatsoever but we were extremely happy we found this place - green, quiet, clean, full of things to do for the kids. It was Sunday so the cafeteria was not working but it did not matter to us.
Very glad we happened to be there and we will visit again for sure. It seems a great getaway for the cooler autumn weekends.

Excellent park for kids to run around. The pics show a cool bigger kid/adult climbing/hanging area that requires harnesses. Make an appt for this. It wasn't open when we were there. The cafe had a variety of snacks and drinks. Not much healthy stuff though. Lots of benches to sit and relax. There are water features that weren't on during the winter (good!). Lots of places for kids to run and good visibility for parents.

There's also an open natural area for picnicking next to the park which might be fun for some kids. Additionally, across the street from the park is a big garden.

Excellent place to take the kids and whilst away the time in the sun with Mdina at the background whilst they burn up any excess energy. Place is well kept, clean and safe for all ages.

It's a rather big area with a play ground for the younger ones (adapted to different ages) and the older ones. There's also some open gym and if you are in remote controlled devices, there's lots of space for it.
There's also a very large picnic area. Foreigners do not tend to show up in masses which is good. Lots of locals so there's a good chance to get into contact with some natives.
Lots of free parking around if you are not into buses.

Somewhat difficult to find, not unusual in Malta, but excellent once located. Easy to park. The adventure park is located within the national park, so there are plenty of places to walk. Nearby is the Petting Zoo, as well. The various activities are all age rated. Our 3 year old grand daughter loved all of the ones appropriate to her age. Climbing, swinging, sliding, items for her imagination to run riot, paddling, the lot! We were there on a Friday afternoon, with a few others, but I should think weekends are very popular. Not sure about public transport access but would imagine buses stop nearby. It is very near the American Embassy complex! The area we were in catered for children up to 12 and there were high ropes etc for older children and adults. A brilliant idea and use of previously waste land. Apart from the cafe, free! Cafe serves ice creams, cold & hot drinks, basic food at a reasonable price.

We visited the adventure park with our 18 month old grandson. The facilties are first class. The amusements are very safe and well thought out for the different age groups. We particularly liked the cafe and the water features are excellent in the hot weather. Good parking and all for free. Not to be missed if you have young kids. . Tip, plenty of sun block as kids won't want to leave..
