Meridiana Wine Estate produces some of the best Maltese wines. All our wines are produced using only Maltese grown grapes, most of which in the vineyards of our estate in Ta Qali, Malta's agricultural heartland. Meridiana Wine Estate produces only approx 140,000 bottles of wine per year and is considered to be a boutique winery producing high quality wines - our mission statement is to produce World Class Wines of Maltese Character. Some of our most renowned wines include the Isis (Chardonnay), Astarte (Vermentino), Melqart (Cabernet Sauv/Merlot), Nexus (Merlot), Bel (Syrah), Celsius (Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve). We have recently launched a First Limited Release of our new dessert wine, Baltis (Moscato Passito). The first vintage has yielded only 405 bottles. We also produce a mid level range called Fenici. It is made up of a White (Vermentino/Viognier/Chardonnay), a Red (Syrah/Merlot) and a Rose (Cabernet Sauv/Syrah). Most of our production sell in Malta & Gozo. We reserve a small amount of wines for export to select markets like Japan, Denmark & Belgium and to private clients in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Who knew grapes grew in a place that looks like it is nothing but rock? The wines at Meridiana were quite nice. We especially liked the Melqart. However, as a tourist site, I think they could use some improvement. They were especially slow responding to my emails enquiring about setting up a time to visit, and then when we arrived... More

A lovely little winery and a very enjoyable wine tasting. Rita was welcoming and knowledgable and gave us a tour around where the wine is made and the cellars. Rita explains a bit about the wines available for tasting and you can taste three for 8 euros or 4 for 10 euros. Enjoyed the tasting in the courtyard which is... More

A small winery with superb wines. Probably among the very best of Malta. Professional reception and excellence in craftsmanship made the visit to an extraordinary experience.

This winery was part of our tour, loved the place from the moment we walked in. Truly felt the authenticy of this winery including the cellars underground or the sitting area up top. The wine was very good, they are very generous with their wines and accompanied cheese and crackers. The history of the winery was shared which toom the... More

We randomly rang this company from the visit Malta website and booked in for wine tasting. When arriving it was a beautiful winery building in the middle of the grape fields. The staff were knowledge and inviting, we were given loads of time to relax and taste wines and it only cost €10 to taste four wines! We went on... More

I've been there few days ago for wine tasting and it was absolutely fabulous. I've booked everything via email without any problems. Very kind lady showed us a winery and said that we can choose 4 wines for tasting. Lovely wine and atmosphere, would highly recommend.

A unique wine tasting opportunity where traditional Maltese hospitality inebriates visitors whilst whetting their taste buds on the delicious products of local vines. Truly a cippus for all wine-lovers to be guided by.

My wife and I stopped in to Meridiana on our trip to Malta. We were looking for a winery to visit and since Meridiana is somewhat close to Mdina, we were able to bus it from Valletta. We did not call or make any appointments so I cannot say what the full tour would be but one of the staff... More
