Beautiful and unique beach
Aug 2021 • Family
The pictures speak for themselves!
We went there with a speed boat and stayed at the remote side of the beach that can be reached only with a boat!
Stayed there the whole day as the kids had so much fun at these unique colored waters!

Never made it
Oct 2020 • Couples
So hard to get to and we never made it.
We parked near the goat farm and began following the rocks with the red dots. After a while the red dots seemed to stop and the only path was moving away from the beach.
We wore good shoes and are fit, but we were sliding down in the rubble and felt unsafe, sowe turned back.
It looks stunning though.
I'd recommend the ferry, when it's running!

amazing beach, hard to reach by foot
Aug 2020
I didn't have problems to find the beach going down, but returning from it I got lost and it was very hard to find the right track again through the jungle. If you miss the way, backtrack immediately and start again. Otherwise you will go deeper into the jungle. When you go back, stick to the left if in doubt.
The beach itself is amazing and so is the water.

Best hidden beach
Jul 2020 • Couples
Ra40ni did a very precise description on 30 june 2020 with everything you need to know to get there. We followed the advice and everything was true.

We hiked there and went on the right side looking at the beach. There you can do some jumps in the water. :)

View is wonderful and you can be in calm. I prefer this beach to Myrthos because you need to deserve it. The 40 mins hike is more enjoyable than to spend 40mins of your tome parking the car 😂😂😂

A true paradise !
Jun 2020
1. DRIVING : You need to park you car somewhere. In the comments below I sow GPS coordinates. One for REGULAR car, and another for 4x4 car. The truth is that 99.5 % of the cars can slowly and carefully reach this point :

38°18'51.7"N 20°27'16.6"E

And now you are on your own :)

2. WALKING : For people like me ( with almost no experience with
orienteering in the forest ) the only way to get to Frety beach is following the dots.
Green and Red marks will lead you to the final destination. You have to look carefully around you. Most ot the dots are on the rocks ( on the froung ).

3.THE ADVENTURE : Except the beach itself, the walking to the wright place is kind of adventurous too. Here are some good tips and preparation you can do before you go :

- Wear comfortable shoes ! Probably the most important thing to know.
The walk to the beach takes 40-50min. The way back is climbing and it took
more than 1 hour.

- Shrink your luggage as mutch as possible ! The way thru the forest will be harder if you carry a huge bag or a backpack. It is quite hard to be careful for yourself…

- Wear enough drinking water ! … and keep some for the way back from the beach.
After certain time at the beach – the way back is harder and slower that you wish.

- Be extremely careful when you walk ! Although it is a lovely walk revealing nice views – there is a certain place that you need to be careful because you are going thru a cliff 5-10 m. long.
Also you will spend some of the time guarding your legs not being scratched by low hard bushes around.

And finally – Be sure you will NOT MISS this PARADISE !

Plenty of pictures online shows the beauty of Fteri Beach, but once you go there, you realize that all the picture means nothing. All these white rocks, turquoise water, the panoramic view, the small shady cave – you need to see and feel.

No picture, video or review can describe the feeling !

Magical desolate beach
Aug 2019
We took the main road to the beach, giving it a special charm. The beach is big, desolate, beautiful turquoise, really worth the effort.

Absolutely worth the walk!
Sep 2019
We got to Fteri Beach in September 2019 and parked our car right next to the goat farm. We walked around 40min to this wonderful beach where both the way and the way back of red and green points were marked. The path is also suitable for inexperienced hikers but has steep slopes and you should have sturdy shoes. So, if you‘re up for kind of an adventure, the beach is absolutely worth the walk. Otherwise, you can take the water taxi which is also absolutely worth the money.

Paradise
Sep 2019
What a beautiful place. Lovely drive from Lixouri less than half hour drive, passing lovely little villages. The bay itself was really pretty with a couple of small boats tied up- a small taverna serving food and drinks. Really quiet with only a handful of people there. Peaceful. No umbrellas or beds which is a shame as we could have done with some shade in the heat. Very scenic and took some lovely photographs. Shallow turquoise waters, great for swimming.

Fteri beach ...
Aug 2019
I walked to Fteri beach for like 50 minutes, with lots of luggage that i will not take next time, since it slowed me a lot.
The water was not as crystal clear as the other people are saying and after 2 meters the water was above my chin.
The landscape was, beyind that, breathtaking, and to be remembered.
