Ukutula is not your average game reserve. It is a conservation centre for cat species, especially lions. You get to interact with adult lions, as well as teenager and cubs. You also interact with Cheetas. SUCH a special visit, will go again and again!

Such a well-kept place near to Johannesburg, where the owners and research staff are working hard to find a cure / vaccine against bovine TB which is killing so many of the beautiful wild cats of Africa. We had the once-in-a lifetime chance to interact...More

Ukutula Lion Park is an absolute must! It’s off the beaten track - 1.5hrs drive from Johannesburg in the Northwest province. It was recommended by a friend in Sandton, so we drove out on the Sunday afternoon, before our night flight out of S.A, and...More

Just about two hours out of Johannesburg you find this nice quite place. They have Tiger pups now and all kinds of different cats found in Africa. Guides are very knowledgeable. Worthwhile a trip with the whole family.
