excellent sparkling wines produced with champaigne method
Nov 2018
Excellent sparkling wines, interesting show cellars with internal grotto with "waterfall", just a short walk from Austrian side at Bad Radkersburg by crossing the bridge of Mur river. It´s worth to visit anytime. Highly recommendable not only for Lovers of good sparkling wines. The best vintage wines are 5 years on yeast (champaigne method) until they are ready for selling. The relation of price / quality is reasonable.

Trip worth making
Apr 2018 • Couples
During our stay in hotel Bioterme, Mala Nedelja, we visited Radgonske gorice for some wine tasting and learning more about wine maker, that makes my favorite sparkling wine, which quality is probably even better than champagne (just my observation, which is been confirmed by many gold medals by international sommeliers).
We came alone, there were no other visitors, but the guide, I think his name was Marcel, was presenting their history, cellers and wine tasting excellent - he didn't seem to mind explaining to only two guests. He has a lot of knowledge not only about their wine and grapes, but also about other wine regions in Europe. We tasted couple of wines, of course amazing ones 😉
We ended up buying 4 bottles of wine and special cork for sparkling wines.
Great experience, would really recommend to winelovers 😊

The pearl of Radgona
Jul 2016 • Business
The one thing we have in Radgona that is the most know is our champagne! Try it and you will see the quality! I suggest the golden ( zlata radgonska penina ) - extra dry.

Slovenia's excellent bubbly!
Sep 2015 • Couples
Although they make still wines, this company is known for its excellent sparking wines - made in the champagne style. It has a tasting centre in an old double-domed, exposed brick, room, where you can taste (at small cost) some of their products. It's a really cosy room, and although clearly aimed at showcasing their products, still manages to be charming.
The bubbly is really good, and it is worth seeking this out.

A very intresting place to visit
Jun 2015 • Friends
This vineyard is famous for its wine Don Penine and is located in Slovenia right across the border from Austria, literally by about 100 metres. The wine tour offered is very comprehensive. the wine is alittle all over tha place but some are ok. And how often did you get to go to Slovenia!
