Very nice and long sand beach with some rocks at the end. We saw a lot of fish when we went scuba diving. Various types too. To get to the beach you need to walk down some stairs but it’s also wheelchair accessible because next to the stairs there is a ramp (but it is quite steep). There is also the possibility to rent 2 sunbeds and a parasol for 7€ per set. You can also order something to drink there.

The most beautiful and enchanting beach of the island with impressive waters and a beautiful landscape in the green and the mountains. Very easy access by bus, better to take the city bus and not a car because parking is difficult, better a motorbike otherwise it's a pig for those who don't want to walk. About 600 meters walk from the bus stop and some steps. It becomes more difficult to turn because it is uphill. But the scenery is worth it. The sunbed set in the first row is €10 with a minimum consumption plus €10, in the second row the sunbed set is €10 without a minimum and you can get something else in coffee if you want.

We saw the reviews and decided to visit this particular beach. It's almost all occupied by the umbrellas of the canteen, so I don't know if you can, beyond a few points, put your trial umbrella. The set of sunbeds cost 12€ and if you wanted extra sunbeds 3€. We sat down for coffee since we went in the afternoon! A little further up there was a girl who came in and blocked the road by putting us in the parking lot. Then he told us that it is 3€ each hour or 10€ as long as we want but he wanted to pay in advance as if we knew how long we would sit. Finally coming down we saw how we could park below free of charge although there were many cars! We got caught a little bit fool, so I'm writing it so no one else gets into it. The beach landscape beautiful.

Stafilos Beach is a beach offering a variety of things to do.
Part of the beach is covered in sand for you to lay down and enjoy, another part is captured by sunbeds and umbrellas which you can rent, and another part is captured by the beach bar, where you can enjoy cold refreshments and coffee! There is also a local tavern on top of the hill, named also Stafilos serving fresh fish.
There is no parking place on the beach, but you can park on the road level up the hill (right before the fish tavern) and from there walk down approx 50 stairs to the beach.
This beach gathers quite a few people but because of its size it does not get packed easily.
My suggestion would be to combine the visit to this beach with visiting the beach right next to it, Velanio, which is a different type of beach, natural and untouched, so you can spend a full day starting from Stafilos beach in the morning, have your coffee at the beach bar, at lunch time have a meal at the tavern and lastly go to Velanio beach in the afternoon to chill in nature, and have a cold drink at the beach bar there.

Another amazing beach, wonderful scenery... The pine trees in the sea... Magnificent scenery... Clear water... You will swim and enjoy it... But you will have difficulty with parking. We went at the end of August and although there weren't many people we had a hard time... It has a narrow descent but a little trouble is worth it as long as you have patience...

Beach with private parking with a charge of seven euros for the whole day , if you go before nine you can find it to park on the street otherwise there is no parking, you go down a few stairs to have access to the beach . 12 euros the set of sunbeds without minimum consumption. With plenty of space to put if you want your own umbrella. Deep sea, which starts with a high pebble and from the point you do not step and inside has thick stones , beach bar that provides the basics, with very good staff. Coffee at 4.5 euros as in all beach bars. The parking is independent of the beach bar. A lot of fish in the sea that bite if you stand still and some can bother them.

Beautiful beach in amazing cove, the closest beach from Skopelos town and about 15 minutes down from the bus stop. Clean beach with many amenities such as water sport kiosk (e.g. 1 hour kayak 15€ ), tavern and 7 € 2beds and umbrella. Sea clean without any sea weed, water calm for good swimming. Just at the end of the beach there is an entrance to Velanio beach – a nudist beach. If you decide to come by car it can be a problem as there are not many parking spaces.

Steep incline down from the main road – parking an issue if you come by car. We walked every time from the Alkistis which took 45 – 60 minutes, not exactly rushing in the heat but mostly flat until you branch off to head down to the beach itself – a real challenge along with steps to get back up. We have attached a few photo's of the road to give an idea of the climb back.
Narrow beach spoilt by far too many sunbeds really close to the water’s edge which come 4.30 every day succumbed to a large sea surge which went well past the first line of beds. Staff from the beach bar were seen walking up and down just before it arrived warning folk to remove possessions from the beach so its clearly a regular occurrence. We saw it every time we were there sat up in the beach bar enjoying a cold draft Mythos so just be aware.
Nice beach, mostly pebbles but some nice sandy spots for towels that get taken quickly – we much preferred walking round to Valanio beach.

A relatively sandy beach with a little pebble. Down the easy stairs (accompanied by a ramp for disabled people) you encounter the beach consisting of a narrow strip of land under rocks with stone. The sea takes a fantastic green color from the vegetation and the waters are so transparent that you can see the bottom in detail, like wearing a mask. The canteen with sun loungers occupies the largest part of the beach, leaving right and left space to sit down. The set of umbrellas is 12 euros while each bedside without umbrella is 3. If you choose to sit, be careful not to be too close to the sea because sometimes waves rise and the sea rises. At the end of the beach is the entrance to the needle.

Lovely beach, beautiful still clear turquoise water. Sunbeds were 10 euros in July. If driving you have to get here very early to get a parking spot somewhere in the steep road but its very limited. Steep walk down plus lots of steps to get to the beach, past a really good taverna which does great lunches. There is also a canteen/small beach bar on the beach as well. If you walk to the end of the beach, track leads to Velanio beach.

Is there a costal road to walk from Skopelos town to Stafilos beach as we are keen walkers. How long a walk to reach the beach?
Written September 11, 2018
There is a very pleasant walk through the countryside taking 40 to 45 minutes. You have to walk on the main road for ten minutes past the turn to the monasteries then fairly straight on. From the first taverna the descent to the beach is steep especially since you have to get back up. Solos walking guide is ok. We used to be able to continue to agnondas but we're unable to find it. Buses easy to follow.
