We visited in April and were told by the staff that there would be lots of bluebells - which there weren't. Plenty of seats but not a lot to see or do.

Lovely peaceful garden, just the birds singing and the odd pheasant call. More wild flowers than most but all well displayed and sign posted. 2 for 1 gardeners world ticket accepted. Nice cream tea for £5 under a parasol in tea rooms.

Further to the previous reply I would agree that the paths are manageable - but not easy. The gardens are hilly, running down into a valley so you will need plenty of energy to push back up to the top of the gardens and it... More
