One week in a mobile home
Aug 2018 • Family
Great place, although 2 different businesses, the camping and the recreation park.
The camping is very clean and quiet. We stayed in one of their caravans for the week. I was very difficult to book from England as no online bookings nor credit card payment could be made over the phone. We had to wire money for the deposit, and the same way once there, as it is owned by the government...
Matthieu, the receptionist (should be the manager in my opinion) was very professional, extremely useful and polite, nothing was too much, he even came an hour before his shift on our departure day so we could catch the ferry on time. We were very grateful.

As for the recreation park, it has everything kids could wish for, pedalos, kayaking, go ape (tree climbing), bouncy castles, wired trampolines, mini golf, go karts and finally a lovely beach. (There were countless "boules" or "pétanque" grounds too as it is afterall the real French national sport.
It is a real shame I didn't pick up the name of one of the guys there, he was a young lad with a beard, he was fantastic, loads of energy and great with the kids, thank you!

We have decided to come back next year. (Now we know how to book)

Could stay the whole day
Jul 2017 • Family
Visited on a windy and partly cloudy day. Not many guests this day, so lots of room for parking and at the beach. Children loved it the beach, and very secure with lifeguards. Clean area except from used cigarettes. Jumping castle, and lots to do. We will come back!

Fun park we want to explore more of...

I promised the kids swimming and this place was near by.... Had I known how relaxed and quiet it was, we'd have headed there earlier. The lake has safe swimming area with sort of beach and great showers and toilets nearby. There are zip wires and other activities during the day but parking and swimming is free. I think you can camp there too but we didn't ... And of sign of any decent eatery on site either.

2 nights wasn't enough
Aug 2016 • Couples
We loved this place and will be back with our children. We stayed in the campsite and it is sort of attached to a massive activities centre, on a lake so there was loads to do, swimming in the lake on one part with another for activities such as pedaloes, paddle boarding and windsurfing. There are also high and low rope activities. And for younger kids there was a decent play park.

The campsite itself was very good too, the pitches were a decent size and included electricity for no extra charge!! The toilet facilities were clean and tidy and there was never a queue.
The reception was very good and although we try our best to speak French, their English is far better.
They also offered breakfast of croissants and baguettes that you could order.

The only downside we could see was that a lot of the activities didn't start until midday, which if you have kids I guess is late, also there was a snack bar which was nice for lunch but closed early, so you would have to cook yourself of find somewhere out, which I think would be a bit of a drive. There was a Carrefour about 5 miles away which we found so this kept us going.

In all I think it would be perfect for a longer stay, a couple of nights wasn't long enough, but it would be nice for couples, friends and families,
