We had a cycling trip centred around Briançon which was amazing. The citadel is absolutely amazing. Good restaurants and lovely people combined with spectacular scenery.

During the winter, most visitors to Briançon and the Serre Chevalier Vallée are there to hit the ski slopes, but it is worth taking time out to visit the charming old town. When our hot, sunny spring weather changed, we took an afternoon off and...More

Definitely worth the trek up the hill! Lots of nice restaurants and little shops and great views. The fortifications were very impressive.
