It's an incredible river gorge, deep down with unbelievable coloured rocks and the river flowing below. Magical.

Anyone travelling along the Route des Grandes Alps between Morzine and Thonon could easily miss the Devil’s Gorge. It is not particularly well signposted, although it is off a direct main road. Look out for the tiny Village of Le Jotty . There is a...More

Conveniently situated between Morzine and Thonon, this is an interesting gorge with lots of history. The steps are steep but well maintained. Need to be ok with heights and wear sensible shoes. Good for children and adults. Outside the gorge are picnic benches and lovely...More

The Gorges is a narrow twisting river into which massive boulders fell, creating a narrow passage into which walkways and steep stairs have been installed. The website says 20 mins down hill walk and 40 mins tour of the gorges. We needed much less time,...More

It has a useful car park for all right next to the view and the bridge. Simple cafe food and drinks are too expensive for what they are and the service was very slow. Would pack your own snacks and drinks as lots of places...More

A fantastic spectacle. Well worth the short drive from Morzine. Guides are bilingual which helps in telling the tale of the history of the place

Good chance to see a wonder of nature in comfort. They conduct organized excursions every next hour - you're going down into the gorge and then wade on the opposite site. Although the excursion was in French, a guide translated to us everything and even...More

We visited and found it better than we had expected. The tour guide was interesting and conducted the tour in French and English. Nice bit of history, myth and geology. An hour well spent. All the people we dealt with were very friendly and helpful!
