Worth a 2 hour visit if you are in the vicinity of Lac du Bourget. Very good audio guide with admission but limited access to 32 visitors at a time so you may have a wait to get in. Beautiful art work to see with...More

It could be an interesting place to see, especially because of the lake nearby, but it is not so easy to reach and also, it is closed for most of the time...

My husband and I had a lovely afternoon at the abbey. It has beautiful views and a very good tour in multiple languages. It is also very noticeable that the abbey is still in use and a hub for the Christian community.

We chose to go here so as to break up the 'pool' holiday and to have a trip on a boat on the lake. We checked on the website of the boat trips first and found when it was sailing and how many places they...More

Had a walk around the grounds and down to the lake. Didn't pay to go in. So can't comment on that as kids were not interested!
