This was not my first visit to the 1050 from Victoria. I have visited this fine establishment for a number of years and I have to say that it has to be one of the finest pubs in Strood. The hours which it is open may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it is a rather peaceful place for a pint… I say peaceful, every now and again a train passes overhead… that is part of the charm!
The selection of ale is not bad at all and the staff are very friendly.
Inside in Winter is really nice when they have the fire going but this time of year I always sit outside. There is also a number of huts for those who would like some privacy.
Price wise… very reasonable.
Cleanliness… immaculate inside and out!
All in all a great place, it attracts a decent crowd and for me it is close to home.

Wonderfully run Freehouse, with decent Ale and Cider and a great atmosphere.
Although our group of mates has spread out across, Kent, UK, World, now, it's still the place we meet up on a regular basis. Keep up the great work Bob and team. And handily, only 7 mins walk to Strood Station.

Since I heard of this pub I have since been back far too often. The beer is always fresh and changes very frequently. There are always people there, and the owners are very welcoming and this all results in a very nice light-hearted atmosphere within a space that's no bigger than a large living room!
Beers (3-5 different ones) Ciders (3-4) and Wines (errrm, red and white?) are all available, though they have decided to not serve spirits or lagers. There are also soft drinks and bar snacks.
Certainly worth a visit, especially if you're nearby and especially if the sun is out as they have a nice sized garden outside too.

A wonderful gem in the middle of industrial urban ness. pretty garden, quirky decor, real life people and hosts. serves a small range of ciders, ales and wines and on a balmy summer night would be perfect. on a cool spring evening it still feels relaxed and comfortable. a piece of Medway worth visiting.

Well what a wonderful little find just off North St in Strood, an amazing Micro Pub, garden and ales.
Just had a pleasant lunchtime brew and good company, will be back many times.

I expect that I am likely to echo what has already been said, so I will veer off a little and say that it is probably one of the happiest places in Medway.
Micro pubs do tend to encourage good chat and banter and the 10:50 certainly does that in spades.
Oh yes, it also serves some excellent beers and ciders...

A mini bus of 15 arrived here. The owners and fellow drinkers made us very welcome. It was packed and there was a fantastic atmosphere and the ales were very good.

. Set under the 1050'th railway arch from Victoria and fitted out as an old time waiting room. Impressive selection of well kept, mainly local beers. Friendly service and a large patio garden which is a sun trap in the Summer. A must see for any Micropub tour

What a pub! No music, no slot machines, no Sky, no Lager. Just great beer and good conversation. Like a pub used too be. Go for some of the best beer around and get to know Bob, Vernor, Gary and their customers. You will have a great evening

A cold and wet Friday after work.
Wandered through a wooden gate and flowering courtyard area into the pub itself. Small and friendly with a stove pumping out the heat nicely. A range of beers to try that I hadn't seen before.
No bar as such to jostle around and no mobile phones to be used inside - marvellous!
Don't all go or there'll be no room for me.
