We went to the Father Christmas Grotto experience and spent the day at the park. From the entry to the park right through the whole day we felt very safe and very secure. Worthy of special note is the food serving areas, from picking up the spoons and drinks lids with tongs to wiping down surfaces after each and every customer (I stood and watched while waiting for food) the whole team took their roles very seriously. The Grotto experience was superb. The elves were funny and made sure that the family in front of us had moved on before they released us from our part. They did this with good humour and professionalism. The whole experience was topped off when the children were able to choose their own presents (not be given something they didn’t actually want). You can see that the who team at the park are totally invested in their roles. A shining star in the crown of boootiful Norfolk!

Hello Jaimie W, thank you for taking the time to leave us such a ROARR-some review of our Dippy’s Christmas Celebration experience and Father Christmas Grotto. The whole team spent a huge amount of time to ensure the experience was safe and as magical as possible – so it means a lot that you noticed all of the little touches we added. We all understand the situation we are in, and of course made sure we adhered to all of the guidelines. But we wanted guests to embark on a magical journey to the North Pole, forgetting everything about Covid and the world we are currently in – for the duration of the experience. The time slots ensured that the experience was personal for guests and our Father Christmas spent a lot of time with his elves, to make sure they were behaving themselves! Thank you so much again for such a lovely review during challenging times for everyone. We will ensure we share with the whole team and want to wish you and your family a happy and healthy 2021!

We went for the evening Father Christmas experience last week and it was absolutely brilliant, the covid restrictions have actually enhanced this experience as you get a full 40 ish mins to yourself walking the exciting and well organised trail leading up to Santa on your own- with the fun encounters along the way. It was amazingly organised, my daughter loved it and it was fun for the adults too. Such good value for money and a lot of little touches that made this the best Father Christmas experience we have been to even with the current restrictions. Definitely worth a visit and would recommend to anyone.

Dear L A, thank you so much for the ROARR-some review of Dippy’s Christmas Celebration and grotto event and experience. We have spent a considerable amount of time planning an experience that is both safe, but magical at the same time. After a challenging year for everyone, we wanted to offer an event where families could escape the realities of the world and embark on a journey to the North Pole – letting their imaginations run wild. The time slots have helped to ensure the experience is exclusive and personal for everyone. We really appreciate the feedback and will ensure this is passed to our crew. We hope to see you again soon and hope you and your family have a ROARR-some Christmas!

We visited Roar today to include the Father Christmas experience and it was wonderful. The park was not too crowded, masses to do including dancing with the elf. The whole Santa section was so well designed and planned, one of the best I have ever taken part in - just a totally wonderful day with two very happy children, parents and grandma. Worth every penny and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you to everyone involved. Merry Christmas,

Dear Global383693, thank you for taking the time to leave us a ROARR-some 5-star review of our Dippy’s Christmas Celebration event. We have spent a lot of time planning and ensuring the experience is both safe and magical for families to enjoy. It is immersive and captures the imagination of all ages and we are exceptionally proud of our grotto and daytime experiences. We really appreciate your kind feedback and thank you so much for the kind recommendation. We wanted to keep the magic of Christmas alive, after what has been a rather challenging year for everyone. And we are glad you could share this experience with us.

We enjoyed the fact that it was something we can do outdoors in the new Covid world. The splash park was closed and it chucked it down all day but my my little one still had an amazing day and said it was the best day of his half term The lost world is where they had the "Halloween feature" which after queuing for over an hour to get in it was a man walking us round looking at a small pretend poo, some fur and some very hard to see scratches on the tree and a werewolf statue at the end and after travelling from Colchester was a complete waste of our time. A lot more effort could have been made after seeing the Halloween feature I will not be going back for the Santa feature. The spooky stories made up for it as a bit of outdoor interaction in a Panto style was exactly what my son needed :) Didn't get to experience a lot due to weather and Covid 19 but the Halloween massive queue and let down was a very big chunk of the day removed for nothing even slightly substantial :(

Dear Jessica T, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review of your recent experience at our 85-acre park. We are extremely happy that your little one had the ‘best day of his half term’ with us. Dippy and his dino friends are feeling ROARR-some to hear that! We can only apologise that our Curse of the Werewolf Halloween attraction did not live up to expectations. The majority of feedback we received about this new interactive experience was positive and we were proud to be able to offer this – during a challenging time for us. But of course, we will take on board your feedback for next year. We are glad you enjoyed watching Vincent’s ROARR-some story telling! We hope to welcome you back soon for another adventure!

Roarr is our (nearly) three-year-old grandson's favourite place to visit. He loves dinosaurs and can name most of the common ones! The outdoor play equipment is very good and the dinosaur walk, through the woods, with a number of life-sized dinosaurs including a towering Brachiosaurus is always a favourite. There are many other attractions which are well thought out including a collection of animals such as donkeys, wallabies, goats etc. We visited ( for about the fourth time) the day after Halloween and there were plenty of ghosts, giant spiders and other scary frights in the trees. Our trip was just before the second national Covid lockdown and there were plenty of hand gel stations around the site. All possible problems re Covid had been well thought through and addressed. The biggest plus for us, besides our grandson's enjoyment, was the staff. ALL of the staff were polite, cheerful and very helpful. They are a credit to the park and its owners. Another positive aspect was that all waste left by visitors was recycled. They claim that no waste goes to landfill.

Dear Anton T, thank you for taking the time to leave us a ROARR-some review of your experience with us! It means a lot to us to hear that we are your grandson’s favourite place to visit – that is quite an accolade for us! Our Dinosaur Trail, as you eluded to, is a popular and much loved element of our park – with woodland walks and over 110 life-sized dinosaurs waiting to be discovered. The Brachiosaurus is definitely quite a sight! We have over 20 dinosaur themed attractions for our guests to enjoy and we love hosting our ROARR-some events throughout the year! We do hope you can join us again soon – after lockdown 2.0. We have spent a considerable amount of time to adhere to government restrictions, so we are glad you felt safe during your visit.
